Works great with Hampton Bay Caswyck 54" with two lights
This receiver works perfectly with a Hampton Bay Caswyck 54-inch model. Our fan and its lights stopped working with the remote. We also had it integrated with Alexa through a Bond Bridge, and voice commands started failing sporadically, which complicated diagnosing the problem. At first, I thought the Bond Bridge might be the problem, but we have another fan that uses it, and it worked fine. So I did a web search on what the problem might be, and found that the receiver was the likely culprit. Finding the RIGHT receiver was a challenge though because the Caswyck has two lights - an "Up" light and a "Down" light. Most of the receivers I found did not mention the ability to control two lights. They might have worked, but I wanted to be sure. I finally found the right part on another site, but Amazon had it for a better price, so I bought it here. Installation was very easy. The receiver arrived with new wire nuts, and the wires already had the ends stripped. I took photos of the connections on the original receiver (always a good idea!), disconnected it, and then I connected the new unit. The toughest part of the procedure was getting the wires back up inside the junction box, but I managed to do that. One important point to be aware of is that the receiver has an antenna, which needs to be on the outside of the canopy that covers the wires. Another important point is that the DIP switches in the receiver and the remote need to be set exactly the same. If they aren't, the remote won't work.

Good Stuff
This unit fixed my Monte Carlo fan so it works again using the same sending unit which is in the wall! The old receiving unit died it was about 20 yrs old.

I’m so happy to have found this to revive my Monte Carlo fan
I have a Monte Carlo fan which stopped working several years ago. I really love this fan which has a not so common dimmable uplight/downlight and three speed reversable fan. I looked everywhere but could not find a replacement receiver. I know that was the problem because I tried the transmitter from a second similar fan set to the same frequency. On a whim a long time later, I used one of the newer AI search engines and it identified this product. I ordered it and hooked it up. I was thrilled when all of the features started working again. It replaced a Monte Carlo receiver with the part number 7067GM-05(4+6). The only difference is that the original receiver had inline fuses on the up and down light power wires and this one does not.

It's not as complicated as I thought
I had a fan whose control sensor stopped working. I could not identify a direct replacement for my fan model, but found that Anderic sold generic replacements. I had a fan with down lights that were dimmable, three speeds, and a reverse in the fan that had to be triggered from the remote control. My remote was still working so I found a control module that claimed to be compatible with my remote. I found one that controlled only down lights and not up-lights. After looking on Anderic's website, I found that the reverse function is provided by a separate mechanism, and not the controller. So I was hopeful that the replacement would work. Much to my disappointment, they sent me a controller that controlled both up-lights and down-lights. Rather than send it back, I installed it and just ignored the up-light wire. It worked fine and all is well. I wish they had included a note that acknowledged that they sent me a different product than I ordered and that told me it would work just as well so I didn't have to experiment.

It works great and easy to install.
Was the right receiver for my Hampton Bay ceiling fan.

Works as described. No humming or buzzing.
These are the real deal. I wish I could get them directly from Amazon.ca. Installed in multiple fans in the house. No buzzing, humming at any fan speed. Or a reduction in max fan speed. Light dimming may or may not work depending on the LEDs you use with the fan.

NO OWNERS MANUAL
Bought this replacement. Hooked it up. It didn't work. Did I do something wrong? I don't know. There was no owners manual or installation instructions. Wait, there was a card that came with the receiver with QR code and link to owners manual. It just took me to the product on the website. No instructions. I spent a long time looking for an owners manual or installation instructions on the website. Nothing. Contacted support and asked for an owners manual. They don't have one. Well they should have said that up front. Would have saved me so time. I sent the unit back for replacement and the replacement unit worked fine. But the process was more trouble than it should have been.
