ATU-100 Upgraded ATU-1000 Full KIT DIY Automatic Antenna Tuner 7x7 (ATU-1000W by N7DDC)

I received the kit and it was packaged well. When I opened the kit all I saw was one page of instructions. They were not complete nor where they very instructive. I had received other instruction pages from the Vendor after requesting them. They were also not complete.There are two smaller Transformers that you have to make for the FWD / REFL power sampling and there are NO directions how to make them. After studying the pictures and searching the internet I found them and were able to wind them.There are some connectors that you have to solder and some a backwards from the silkscreen on the circuit board.The blue LCD display does not work. It fails to light up. I tried another display I have with the same interface and it lights up.However, there are no characters being displayed. I have tried resetting the CPU. Nothing. I suspect the CPU never got programmed. I don't see any functions when I select switch wires.The Seller did send me a new CPU board and LCD display. Both now work. I also found 3 LED's for the Relay identification that were not working and I replaced them. So far, it is OK.Overall, the Seller's response was great. I don't fault him. He buys the kit from a Source. His response was excellent. The kit content and instructions need a lot of improvement.

I've ordered this tuner in the hopes that I would have a solid tuner for my HF station without having to pay the cost for an auto tuner that I would normally pay from other hamradio manufacturers. I received the kit knowing that this was something that I might have to have help to put together being totally blind, however upon speaking to the manufacturer, I find that there is not even an enclosure for this kit on amazon, so how would one use this tuner even if it was able to be assembled? Second, the tuner will only find a match within a 1.3-1 SWR? Seriously?
