I take it all back.
Revised: I previously rated 5star. I retract that. This part broke during the 2nd use (after less than 2 hrs of mowing). Clearly this is a lower quality piece than original (which master 6-7years). I’ll be requesting a replacement or refund.Part on my mower that broke was original. As far as I can tell, this spring is exactly the same. Fit perfectly, installed myself in 30 sends. Saved me $100+ repair bill from the dealer where I bought the mower. Arrived in 2 days. Thanks!

It's a spring and it fits it also provides proper tension.
