Ugly Guide to the Uglyverse (Uglydolls)

The graphics are highly engaging , as an adult I found some of the humor and old fashioned words a little beyond the intended age.

WONDERFUL and very very funny! A book for children AND adults :-). David and Sun-Min express their wittiness in their fabulous and very detailed drawings. Humor you can chew and think on--you find new things every time you go back to the Guides. A delight to the eye for Uglydoll fans and people who just want plain fun! C'mon, wouldn't you like a Tako cone? :-DHighly recommended. We bought 3 copies of each guide!

I gave this book to my 8 year old Grandson for Christmas. He immediately began reading it and became so interested we had to keep reminding him to open his other gifts. He did not put the book down until he finished it. He loved it. So nice to find something for our Grandkids (other than computer games) that they love.

The books are a cute and whimsical addition to the Ugly Doll francise. My 9 year old son really enjoys the stories and laughs out loud to himself.Added plus -- he'll read these on his own without prompting. He is sometimes a reluctant reader (even though he has excellent reading skills). These are definitely fun enough to keep his attention.

I bought this for my husband as one of his birthday presents since we love UglyDolls and this got such great reviews. He LOVED it and we had such a fun time reading through and laughing at the illustrations and descriptions. DEFINITELY recommend. So fun!I purchased the hardcover addition and it's beautiful -- highly recommend that as well. :)
