Switch not positive...
The circular knob/Switch is not that positive, it feels like an old worn out radio, furthermore the battery that came with the kit was flat, it didn't have enough power in it to start up properly let alone run efficiently. After I placed a new battery in it worked fine, although the switch is still not brilliant. The temperature gauge is very Slow to register even though I suppose it will come in handy at some point...

Inaccurate voltmeter and ammeter function
when I turned on the device, the voltage and amperage reading showed values that were oscillating for 1 minute until zero and sometimes I had to restart the device, because it didn't reset to zero.Bearing in mind this imprecise reading of a few decimals, if you don't need a 99% measurement it will serve you well due to the amount of functions and good construction. With that in mind 3 stars is more than enough.

Reads +2.3 amps and -26 amps when freestanding. (Ghost current?)
Edit:After using this meter for a week or so it has started to read 2.3 amps when just turned on to the DC amp meter at the 600 amp setting. it reads -23 amps when set to the 1000 amp setting in DC. This is with no wires or current passing through the clamp. If I put amperage through it does add somewhat accurately to the total, though I don't think it's super accurate, hard to tell. (This is shown in what should be the third and second to last photos) (In AC mode amps still read fine)Another peeve I have with it is that once I hit the "select" button to change from AC (default) to DC, every time I change to a different setting on the dial... I have to once again hit "select" to change back to DC. I think it should be obvious that once set to DC, that the user will want to continue using DC for that use of the device, but that is not the way this is programmed.Something I've noticed, that surprised me, was that there is no metal pads on the ends of the arms of the clamp. (final photo) Every other clamp meter I've ever seen makes a metal connection when closing the clamp. Without the loop, this could allow magnetic charge to build up causing the DC ammeter dissonance. Really not sure if that's the cause, but this meter certainly isn't functioning properly, and may not be made properly.-------------------------------------------Original Review, superseded by above edit:I like this multimeter, it reads pretty accurate, within 10 mV of other multimeters.Temp is certainly within a degree C, which is it's resolution. One thing I really like is that of the two ports for the red lead, you only use the second for measuring temperature. Other meters I've used require one port for Voltage, and the other port for everything else, which with tight leads ends up damaging them over time. The second thing I like, is that of most "budget priced" clamp style multimeters this is one of a few that give the 6000 resolution AND also measure both AC and DC current. (as opposed to just AC as many do).Runs on a 9v battery that comes with it.The clamp trigger is VERY tight. Can't say that's a negative per se, but something to keep in mind if your hands aren't strong.

Not for professional use
The rotating selector is not solid. Even there is a hole where the probe should be plugged for mAh, it is not connected internally. The delivered battery died after a day of use. And the display was blinking without clear LOW BATTERY icon. Instructions are difficult to read/understand.
