Ubon Convertible Duffel Backpack Weekender Gym Bag with Shoe Compartment

Purchased the yellow 55L bag for a three month trip with a lot of plane hopping. I am *so* glad I did! Well-made, unique and stands out on a baggage carousel, the stowable backpack straps are extremely convenient and easy to use/put way. Has a tone of good compartments for storage, and the 55L had ample enough room for all my personal clothing/gear for the trip. It even worked as a carry-on, believe it or not, slid right into the overhead compartment and fit perfectly. I plan to purchase the 45L for a trip where I want just 1 smaller bag with backpack straps and will be getting on/off a lot of trains.It's a great bag. Quick tip: get a wax zipper stick and coat the zipper, which will keep it clean and working for a long time!!

I was on the hunt for a new gym bag...my Addidas bag had worn out. I wanted something big and solid and to have all of the correct pockets for my items. I ordered a total of 5 bags. All of the TOP brands and this one. THIS ONE WON. THis is hands down the best and most useful gym bag I have ever had. The Vented Shoe area fits the shoes sideways as to not take up room inside the bag. My shoes are size 13. In the Addidas bag you had to insert them into the bag and the shoes took up a large amount of room inside the bag even though they have their own Chamber. This one is way better. One end is vented for shoes, on the other end it has a sealed compartment. This is where my hair dryer goes. When you open the top flap, on the inside under the flap it has a velcroe pouch area perfect for the headphones. The handles on both ends and the top are amazing. The room inside is perfect for all of my stuff. Overnight bag, all of my towels and change of clothes. What I really love is the locking mechs that go over the entire bag. I hate using the zippers. I just click these two clasps and I am on my way. I have been using this bag for over 2 weeks, and it fits perfectly in the gym lockers. It is made of a much more sturdy material rather than the other more expensive ones I ordered. The other 4 were returned...this is the keeper. And then today...I just discovered that on the bottom it has a nother zipper hiding the back pack type straps...I will never use these...it has them. I am blown away. The right gear going to the gym changes everything. Hope this helps somebody.

My son took this to camp. It’s very big and roomy. Durable material. It can be carried on the back which makes it easier to transport

I got the 45L red bag in January. I've since taken it on 2 sets of trips to Europe and SE Asia. It's held up great, with no damage or wear and tear. Very comfortable handle and light. I used it mainly for flights, to airports and hotels. It's a carry-on. One thing though is that it tends to lay flatter or wider than other bags, and it feel big when over the shoulder. While it fits the overheads, even on commuter jets, you have to squish the contents to fit between other bags. Being small and compact, it can be overpacked. But the material seems durable. I think I can take this everywhere, unless it's a jungle in rainy season, or long trips with lots of gear.

Worked great for a 3 stop trip through Spain, especially sharing a taxi with 2 other people and their suitcases. Able to fit this in back seat between 2 people as the taxi’s trunks are small. Held up good. Suggest spraying waterproofing on it though, inside wet after sitting in rain on tarmac.

I bought this for my weekend trips with friends. I like the color a lot. The first day I used it. Everything fit perfectly. Out it in the car. 5 hours later it had a rip in it at the seem towards the bottom. It ripped all the way across. I was really bummed. I think it was just a seam that got missed. The rest of the bag is really nice.

Great bag! Two years old and I’ve traveled overseas with this bag four times now as a carry-on. It holds all I need for multi week trips. Great design, sturdy materials, well crafted. Couldn’t be happier.

I absolutely love this bag! I am a firefighter paramedic and I work 24 hour shifts, and I have been searching for years for that perfect bag to help sustain me during the shift - you just never know what calls you're going to run so you have to keep backups of your uniforms. I had a 'tactical style' black duffle bag with MOLLE and it came apart at the seams. This bag holds my work uniforms, toiletries and even a decent pair of boots. There is storage in the main/top flap that I use for socks and underwear and for backup toiletries. On the very top of the bag there is a small zippered pocket with a key clip for holding your keys. The bag feels well made, and there are nice padded handles on the top and short ends. The bag has extra straps on the outside with plastic buckles to help compress the material, but I don't see a need to use them. The bag comes with a shoulder strap, but there are also very nice, padded backpack straps built into the bottom, and it's perfect for carrying in and out of the firehouse. The only con I have for this bag is that I wish the inside color matched the outside- I wanted this color for a 'high vis' interior, but it's mostly black inside.

After travelling for 6 week in Europe with this bag I can say its pretty good! The bag is quite tough and the backpack straps show no sign of breakage after some usage. The two pouches are great for separating dirty laundry and bathroom supplies. The top pounch good for miscellanous stuff. The inner laptop pounch works although the velcro strap is too loose.No problem passing the bag through as hand luggage, although I didn't stuff it to maximum.Didn't find the dufflebag strap and mode of use that useful - its too big for a shoulder strap. I'll ditch this next time.The one thing that lets the bag down are the pouches in the flip "lid" in front of where you stow the laptop. They are intended for small items such as cables, thumb drives, pens, laptop mouse etc BUT they are not sealed so everytime you open the "lid" their contents falls out. So not really useful. They should have had velcro seals. So 4 stars instead of 5.

I’ve purchased the bag in size 55 L for my husband as his gym bag. He’s in the trades so the bag has to fit his work clothes, shoes, winter jacket, toiletries, etc. The bag was able to fit those items, but no additional space for an extra hoodie if needed. The bag also didn’t come as advertised. It didn’t have the mesh layer on the inside. Instead of two side pockets, one of them was a regular shoe pouch (see pic) that took up space on the inside of the bag. The shoe pouch also didn’t have any ventilation, so my husband has to leave the zipper slightly open. Points deducted because of this. Overall, the quality is fine for its cost, and the versatility is good.

Been looking for something useful and that had plenty of room and lightweight because I travel a lot...So far, so good!Only thing, the inside compartment on the top should of had a zipper of something, because as soon you slide something in it and reopen your bag, it slides back out, nothing is holding it. Otherwise I'm very satisfied and will see with time how long and durable it will be! Enjoy!
