I have gone through $40 pair after $40 pair of casual shoes. I usually like the look of say, Arrigio Bello, or similar and try them out. Every single time, they end up with issues after 3 or 4 months and I am buying a new pair. The rubber soles wear away, the insoles stop being comfortable, the pleather gets a nick and expands, or the stitching has issues. Cool look, lousy life span= expensive over time.These shoes look great, have remained comfortable for many months now, and are fully intact as the day I bought them. I cannot emphasize the comfort enough. I am going to buy another pair to add to my repertoire.

My daughter was studying abroad in Florence last summer, and when I went to visit her, I brought back a beautiful handmade leather jacket and a pair of gorgeous handmade leather shoes for my very fashion-focused 19-year-old son who is a freshman in college. He loved the jacket but thought the handmade leather shoes I bought him in Italy were the dorkiest shoes ever. I bought these shoes for him and brought them in my suitcase to family weekend this fall. When he opened them, he had a big smile on his face and he said, “these are really cool—I’ll wear these!” He and several of his young and hip ”gym-bro” friends in the honors engineering dorm really enjoy getting dressed up just to go out to the movies or parties on campus. He wears these with the suit I bought him for his high school prom last year or with. the handmade Italian leather jacket I bought him in Florence! Would definitely recommend these for a young man that likes to dress up, but still wants to wear tennis shoes.

Love the style of these shoes and they are extremely comfortable. I wear a 12.5 and require a 3E in width and it's very difficult finding shoes that fit. These were a surprise though I did use my shoe stretcher to add a bit more room on the right shoe. I have a Morton's neuroma on my right foot and it's important to not restrict the metatarsal so that's why I used the stretcher.

I've known the brand for so many years.For years, I never experienced sweating of my feet until these shoes.Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with this model.
