Not much to add to what other reviewers already wrote, but I'll add my purchasing experience. When it arrived, I installed fresh alkaline AAA batteries and loaded them up separately with pink sea salt and whole peppercorns. The pepper grinder worked flawlessly, but the salt grinder stalled a few times, and then stopped turning altogether. The instructions said to adjust the coarseness especially with salt, but the problem still happened occasionally. Then I swapped heads so that the problematic grinder head was used for pepper, and it had the same problem. I went to my Amazon purchases and submitted a replacement request. A few days later, the replacement came, I swapped the weak grinder head with one of the new ones, and both have been working well for over a week. It seems the original motor head had a manufacturing weakness. I still give this product full 5 stars for ease of use and especially the convenient replacement policy. The one adjustment I have to make is the motor keeps turning for 1-2 seconds after I turn the unit upright to turn it off so I have to pre-plan my wrist action to avoid spilling salt or pepper outside my plate or pot. In a way I wish there was a button similar to the pulse button on a blender or foot processor, but I can see how I may inadvertently turn it on. In the end the gravity switch is the ever so slightly more elegant solution.

I've had this for a while now and it works great. The only complaint I have is that I prefer finely ground papper, and even on the finest setting, this pepper grinder grinds it slightly on the course side. Not bad, but just slightly course.

Love the grinders! They are the perfect size and weight - we leave them on the counter for easy use when cooking. Easy to refill. Only complaint is the salt grinder - the salt interferes with the batteries at times and then the grinder doesn’t work. But we clean it and then it’s fine, just annoying sometimes.

Purchased July 2022, so nearly one year later is my review! I use pink Himalayan salt & peppercorns in ours. ⭐️Love dang near everything about these grinders! ⭐️A grinder that FINALLY holds a TON of whatever u put in it vs MAYBE 2 TBSP 💕 ⭐️Ease of use! Tip over! Tip up! 💕 ⭐️Ease to clear a jam in grinder! Simply unscrew grinder adjustment top and take the whopping three pieces out, using thumbnail to grab last piece! Very simple process!!! Dislodge any particles caught up & reassemble! There's only 3 pieces, so no confusion 💕 ⭐️I think blue light is sooo pretty, tho doesn't affect my view of food(while cooking! Haven't used in candlelight!) 💕 🧞‍♀️If grinder just stops working, check for dislodged batteries. Replace, if not dislodged!! The only thing I can find that I don't like, tho I've never experienced ...a "problem" of corrosion with... is a build up of very fine salt in battery compartment! 😥 Others have said it has caused corrosion of the springs, which is obviously bad! I just checked mine, found salt along bottom edge, next to batteries & a bit on inside wall of battery cover. HOWEVER, as mentioned, I've never experienced any issue! If I do, I will connect with seller for a resolve 💕 (I recommend occasionally checking for salt & removing, if found! I wiped edge off, then, with sharp blows, blew the small amount I found out! If there's a lot, remove batteries & perhaps clean springs with a paste of baking soda & water! Allow to dry thoroughly b4 reassembly !!!) 💕 🤔Perhaps a thin silicone edge along inside top cover would prevent salt from entering into battery area along with an on/off switch so top can be removed with grinder upside-down? 🤷‍♀️🤷 It stands, nearly a year later, that I STILL LOVE these grinders 💕💕💕 9.5 ⭐️ if I could, 1/2 star bc of salt! One of the grinders is still fine but the one we put salt in just completely stopped working out of nowhere. And it wasn't screwing up or being weird before; it was literally working very well and in the middle of me using it, it stopped working. I cleaned it, and then changed the batteries TWICE (very carefully to make sure that wasn't the problem). I read a couple reviews about that and they said the company was good about a replacement so hopefully that's accurate. If not, I'll update my review for sure. I love this product but we got it on Sept. 27th and it stopped working a couple days ago OUT OF NOWHERE. That's basically 3/maybe 4 months. I would like a replacement since it wasn't my fault that their product stopped working...

Love this salt and pepper grinder. Automatically turns on when tipped over for convenience cooking but that is a downfall if gets knocked over. Wood say it’s a standard size. I think it takes 6 aaa batteries so if I were to purchase this again I would look for a rechargeable version.

They work great until they don't. They look nice in my kitchen. Initially I bought a two pack, one for salt and one for pepper. The salt shaker gets used considerably more and broke at the 12-month mark. I bought an individual replacement for the salt hoping that it was just a fluke and 6 months later the one for pepper broke. I contemplated switching Brands but after doing research it seems this is pretty common for automatic seasoning grinders. I personally prefer buying the two pack ($30/for a pair) over buying them individually ($20/each) , even if I only need one, at least I would have a backup in the cabinet for when one decides to die. The trouble I ran into was not battery related. The 6 AAA batteries in these lasted longer than the Grinders themselves. When the Grinders died I initially thought it was the batteries in them that needed replacing so I replaced them and when those replacement batteries didn't work I replaced them with another six different batteries and they were still not in working order so it was definitely the grinder itself not the battery is needing to be replaced. With all of that being said I will be buying another two pack, one to replace my broken pepper shaker and one to put in my cabinet as a backup because they do work nicely and look great in my kitchen.

Pas de doute, maintenant que je les ai, je ne pourrais plus m'en passer. Ils fonctionnent à merveille et se mettent en marche au doigt et à l'œil. La petit lumière bleue permet de voir ce qu'on fait mais ça reste un gadget. Il ne faudra pas non plus mettre des grains trop gros de sel ou de poivre (au choix) car les moulins ne vont pas en faire des grains très fins mais sinon c'est génial. Seul bémol, 6 piles AAA pour chaque appareil... Espérons qu'elles durent longtemps...

These are excellent products. I have a pair but bought another set. Unfortunately, the second set arrived cracked open right in the middle of the large pouring spout. Even so, I have bought another pair, and I will use the broken set as spares.

Works exactly as advertised. I’d buy this again.
