High quality chain for great price. Bronze color matched 4 of our newly installed fans. All 4 fans came with short chain, seems to me cost cutting. I recommend to measure the length to be added before cutting, cut the exact need length with cutting plier, and use any of the connectors to fasten the the extension. Easy done in few minutes.

This package of ball chain and connectors provided an easy fix for some hard to reach ceiling fan controls. We recently installed a ceiling fan in a rarely used guest room. Due to the infrequent use it wasn't worth buying a more expensive fan with a remote control or getting an electrician to add a separate wall control (one for light, another for fan - current wall switch controls all power to the fan). Unfortunately, with the placement of the fan in the center of the room, that meant even a tall person would have to climb on something to reach the fan controls. With this ball chain we were able to easily add length to the chains, making it possible for almost anyone to reach the chains to adjust fan speed and/or turn the light on/off. We just used wire snippers to cut the desired length of chain, removed the decorative pulls from the original chains, attached the new length of chain, reattached the decorative pulls, and done! Bonus, we have quite a bit of chain and extra connectors left over.

If you need to extend the pulls on a ceiling fan, this is what you need. It cuts easily with a pair of wire cutters, and the included connectors make it easy to add 8 inches or 2 feet to your pulls! And the price is great! Highly recommend.
