Logitech G Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, 16.8 Million Colors RGB Backlit Keys, Ultra Portable Design, Detachable Micro USB Cable

For those of you who are familiar with Romer-G switches already, there's not much to say on what you're getting. For those who are not familiar with Romer-G switches PLEASE read the bit after the more general review.It's a Ten-Key-Less board with the simple and clean G810 design with TACTILE version of the Romer-G switches. The detachable cable seems insignificant though it may be an up-sell to those who attend a lot of LANs or often move their rigs around.The two step feet feel solid and provide good grips even over my glass-top desk... not much to say really.No media controls... at this point for a $10-20 mark-up over the G810 which is being phased out with a price drop... a fuller sized keyboard with the same exact specs and design AND dedicated media keys... is not a good feeling. It would have been nice to see them integrate at least the volume wheel for the G Pro. Sure the TKL keyboards in general seem to be sold at a premium despite offering less, and that's the nature of the market I suppose... but a criticism I'd still make a point of bringing up even though it's more a market trend issue than the product itself.All in all, it's a solid product, solidly priced RGB TKL keyboard. Performs as well as any other Logitech board, low latency, Romer-G switches, bleed-less lighting, great software still continuing to improve through updates, and etc. Compared to other TKL alternatives, this was still a pretty straight forward purchase for me.-POST SIGNATURE FOR THOSE NEW TO ROMER-G-ps. Those who are NOT familiar with Romer-G switches... PLEASE understand that they will NOT feel like the MX switches or any other more common mainstream switches. The keys are pure mechanical, but there will be what feels like 'rubberdome' as described by many. The shortened actuation time will be largely unnoticeable without you becoming substantially accustomed to it in certain scenarios in certain games. And really what you get used to using Romer-G boards might have more to do with Logitech's low latency times than the switches themselves anyway.The closest Cherry comparison that I know of would be MX Browns.... but Romer-G will still feel quite distinct in comparison. What I can say is, Romer-G switches are one of the most quiet (which is a good thing, since you can't really install O-Rings on these switches), the Romer-G's center-positioned lighting allowing bleed-less lighting that makes the keys look clean and fantastic (subjective, but it offers a crisp visual that you wouldn't get on any other RGB boards), and it seems to perform just as well as any other top-of-the-line offerings on the market in terms of performance and durability.Just so you know, Romer-G first came out on Logitech’s launch of 900/400(?)/600(?) series gaming keyboards with arguably one of the most hideous and awful keycaps, allegedly for 'gaming' that gave the switches an awful awful reputation.The Romer-G's are highly underrated switches imo. Even though the bump may feel slightly “mushy” like a rubberdome, which makes these arguably an acquired taste, these keys are absolutely mechanical switches, mechanical switches that offer a genuine top-of-the-line performance at that.I do urge you to try these switches, provided you have the means to check the game out for a good solid week or two.

Like I stated, this LogitechG PRO keyboard, with Logitech's G Hub software, works perfectly with Macs' (unlike Razer, who could not even tell me which of their keyboards worked with Macs'. They (Razor) actually told me that their Huntsman Elite worked... it absolutely did not! That's $200 I wont see again!} And this G Pro keyboard is half that price!The Logitech people were able to look up in a flash which keyboards worked with Mac's, and as you have read they work like a dream!. This PRO keyboard is very high quality goods! It wieghs a ton (ok, actually over 2 pounds), so it will not budge when you are wildly pressing keys, and it will last for years. I mean it is like having the Rosetta Stone on your desk. The G Hub software way out preforms Razer's sketchy Synapse (2.0 for Macs') offering. With Logitech's G Hub Mac users have the full range of adjustments that PC users have for their keyboards, Mice, Headphones and other peripherals by Logitech G. and there are quite a few, lighting, key commands, macros, the works. The size of this PRO keyboard is just right. It is not only just great for gaming, it is really nice and solid for typing on as well. Logitech also makes other more complex gaming keyboards with more buttons and a tenkey. Like, the G910 which, I would believe to be, every bit as much quality as this keyboard. Besides it uses the same G Hub software.I would recommend that you buy new and from Amazon directly if possible. It just seems that those who don't, wind up with all sorts of troubles. Then they come on here and complain, wrongly blaming the manufacturer. Spend the extra couple of bucks and get one free of any kind of abuse.OK, I have spent more time with this PRO keyboard and like it more now than when I bought it. I have finally become used to not having a tenkey. I know I love the size without it. There is quite a bit more mousing room without it, and as I have an Arozzi gaming desk on which the entire surface is a mouse-pad, I like to use more of the available space. I have been playing with the lighting it is great at night, you can type in the dark. The moving patterns make it hard to type, or at least slow down your speed quite a bit. Basically its great for when you are not using the keyboard!Oh and for you youngsters out there, it is supposed to make noise. That is what mechanical keyboards sound like. Seeing how there is a mechanical keyboard renaissance right now, you will have to deal with it for now. It is cool, not noisy!Very Highly Recommended!

Romer-G keys are absolutely stupendous. I've done insane amounts of research before committing to this keyboard, both online, through reviews, forums, and testing in stores. I must say that after I decided to just go for it I've been really happy with these mechanical keys. I came from a Cherry-MX Blue Clicky & Tactile setup. I like that these aren't clicky, still tactile (more on this soon), and the software with the keyboard is fantastic.Features to note:Lighting - The keys are lit through the keys rather than through the frame of the keyboard, which as a minimalist I actually prefer. The software allows for excellent customization, Logitech did a great job here with their G-Pro line.Mechanism - The Romer-G keys do take a few days for acclimation, but upon getting used to them, they are so great. Imagine a Cherry-MX Red smooth linear flow, but with a Cherry-MX Brown tactile feeling on the way up. Along with a great activation point of the Cherry-MX Speed (quite, very fast).Feel - The keyboard is definitely very well built, sturdy and feels as though it will last, as all of my logitech peripherals have. I had the G5 mouse from 2007 to 2017 and only then did it start having very slight issues. That is an impeccable lifetime for a device that was so so so heavily used. The keys are also covered with a very nice finishing touch where your fingers won't come close to slipping off.Overall this keyboard is fantastic, if you're debating I recommend going to a local store like Best Buy and checking out which key style you like the most. I read a lot of good things about Romer G and now with the second generation of the tactile but silent style, I must say I genuinely agree and love it myself.

If your a Logitech fan go for it. But please keep in mind that there are other similar products offered by other company that achieve functionality and for much cheaper. This keyboard was made for Tournaments in mind and tournaments only.I love Logitech product, but that's just because I have had a good experience with Logitech and I am stupid to pay the price for their products.I bought it because I play with extremely low sensitivity and needed more space on my desk for mouse movements.What I like about it >- It works as expected, it has Logitech Romer-G keys that deliver (to me) a satisfying click.- It the key RGB is amazing, Making it so you can change each of the lights on the keyboard to whatever colour/effect you want. There is an RGB disabling button, as well as an onboard RGB profile, so you can have your RGB settings without needing the app when you move PCs, but please note to change the save on the keyboard you will need the Logitech Gaming app to do so.- It has Media functionality; Play, Pause, Next, Previous, and volume mute, and increase and decrease volume.- It has a gaming windows (and whatever keys you want) disable switch.- It is a 10 keyless and Logitech's smallest keyboard that I know of, and the USB 2.0 micro B detachable cable, like the one used on most Android phones and on the PS4 and XB1 Controllers, makes it easy to transport and take around especially for tournaments.- It has rubber feet on all of it three adjustable heights.What I don't like about it >- Since it is Romer-G keys and only Logitech has/uses them you won't find any other keycaps except the ones that it comes with and the ones on the Logitech site which they recently limited to one version so the keycaps you get are the ones you're going to stick with unless you want to go out and 3D print your own.- It is really overpriced even for a Logitech product, at 130, and would only advise it if you really like Logitech keyboards, you have money to throw away, or it goes on sale for under 90 bucks, and even then the cheapest I ever saw it was at $94 and that was around Christmas after I bought it.- It is a 10 keyless meaning it lacks a number pad so if you are playing a game that requires it, like GTA5 which utilizes the full keyboard, you're going to need to get a number pad. (please note that this was intentionally built this way for tournaments)- The RGB and lights are crap. I know I said that it is amazing in the other section, which it is in the sense that its RGB and its shiny and does colours, but besides that it really is crap. Pure white is light blue and the rest of the colour is really off and takes a while to get the exact colour you want, now keep in mind that it may be that I got a bad keyboard, because the lighting on my G910 is almost flawless when it comes to colours.- Furthermore, this is Logitech, and they don't have very many integrations with games, expect their cash cow League of Legends. It does have discord integration where it assigns a different colour to each person in your discord chat room so you can tell who is talking by the colour of your number keys (red will always be you) but it has trouble with games and other colour profiles that try to compete with one another for the RGB on the board. For instance, I have my keyboard doing the RGB wave, whenever someone will talk or my mic picks up in Discord all the number keys will go out and show the Discord RGB indication. I wish that there was an RGB prioritization menu on the Logitech software so that I can put discord as a low-end prioritization so it doesn't go an override the rest of my board. An example of this would be GTA5's full keyboard RGB. The keyboard will change colours if you change characters, have cops on you, if you take damage in the game, are on low health etc. If you have discord enabled as well the number pad will be controlled by both GTA and Discord and will flash like its having a seizure when someone talks and discord wants to use that section of the keyboard at the same time that GTA does.- The games that I have seen/ noticed have RGB settings for Logitech are, CS: GO, LOL, GTA5, DOTA and that's it.-Its macros are garbage and annoy me. The Function keys act as the macro keys on this keyboard, and you can have one or the other and not both. Meaning that F1 can be either F1 or a macro and not both, and there is no way, at least that I have found to toggle this. You can do a per-application setting, meaning if you have CS open only CS macros will load on the Function keys, but the function key won't work.- The media keys are integrated with F9-F10 and Print Screen, Scroll Lock, and Pause Brake. Not that I don't like it, I just want to point out that these functions don't have their own separate buttons functions like you would find on the G910.- The Rubber feet on the third hight fell off after a few months of use, but were able to be reattached, they are adhesive so the more they are going to fall of the hard it is going to be to add them back on.What I would like to see with further versions of the keyboard:- Make it so that there are multiple macro functions like on the G910, or on the G502 Mouse that can be changed on the fly by pressing the FN key.So you have the Function keys (F1-F8) and you have your macros at the same time. Or at least make it so the macros only activate when you press the FN key and the Function key at the same time like when using the media keys.I have had the product for about 4 months and used it when I wrote this product review so I would say that all of my points are valid.

so i was looking though keyboards for quite a long time, i needed something new cause my old board with blue switches was wayyy to load to game with, was way to bulky, and i often found my hands getting tired.these switches are absolutely amazing they feel GREAT. ive tried mx reds and blues, i have yet to try browns, but i imagine these switches would be somewhere between the feels of brown and red with their extremely light tactile bump, making them almost feel linear, but still prominent enough for me to feel that the key was infact pressed.the huge pro in the keyboard itself, ignoring the flippin amazing romer-g switches, is its portability. It's so compact and small yet doesnt leave anything out. it is surprisingly thin considering what i was expecting from a mechanical keyboard as well as extremely sturdy. its size along with its removable cable makes it perfect for anyone who games at lan parties, wants something to use with a laptop that's easy to carry, or just likes to move their keyboard around like myself.The RGB backlighting is BEAUTIFUL with absolutely no light spill which is just fantastic, along with the centered lighting and letters just look so much better then what mx switches are capable of in my opinion.. the software to control the lighting is fantastic and easy to use, even letting you sync with your mouse or headset which is beautiful. the intent on the capslock key is a really nice touch too.for the cons? well, i wish there was a volume scroll wheel like what was on the g810. i feel like they could have moved the light and gaming mode buttons over to the side to make room for that. having to use the FN key to adjust volume is tedious but not at all a deal breaker.all in all i couldn't be happier with this keyboard, the design and feel is just amazing.

4/19/2018: It worked for about 36 hours. The keyboard started malfunctioning while I was in a game. The ESC key would alt tab me out of the game. The Alt button would turn off the light and the Tab button would bring up the "Alt+Tab" window, but not actually let you alt tab out... just sticks that alt tab window in your face and eventually after a few minutes the keyboard died. I tried re-plugging the cable but it would not turn on. I have tried to use a different cable that I know worked. It did turn the keyboard on for a bit, until I started typing and it would malfunction and shut off. Currently would not turned on at all. I have had a lot of logitech products in the past, some that have malfunctioned, but were still usable. If I had gotten the keyboard with some lights not working, I wouldn't have mind much as long if the hardware was still usable. This is the first defective product I have gotten from logitech that was completely dead. I received a defective product.Since I actually enjoyed the keyboard when I had it, I will repurchase again to give it another try. Hopefully I won't be receiving another defected product.Update 4/29/2018: I received the product again and it came with the box being damaged as well as fingerprints on the keyboard itself showing that it was actually opened and possibly been used. The Z key and Arrow key would activate with the slightest touch or movement on the key without actually pressing the key, the product was another defected product except this one didn't die in two days. However, the keys does register 2 or more times when I press the keys. If I am pressing the Z key when typing the keyboard would show the Z as "zzz" even if i only pressed it once, or if my finger brushed the key. Currently Requesting another refund....Update 5/1/2018(ordered date): I'm gonna try it one last time... if there are issues big enough with the 3rd purchase, I will purchase a tenkeyless from a different company that is not Logitech.Update 5/3/2018: Just received the 3rd Keyboard on this day. The keyboard has no key defects and hardware seems to be fine. However, this is a 3rd keyboard and it has a small defect. Its not a big defect, but its still a defect regardless. During the standard lighting RGB Cycle wave, horizontal that the Logitech software puts on default, the G color cycles at a different speed than the regular Key's color, so the G is not in Sync with the rest of the other lighting. Although this is a defect, its not as bad as the first two keyboard defects that I have received. Still 100% defects on the three attempts I have at buying this keyboard. Now the waiting game to see how long the keyboard will last. So far not impress with the quality this keyboard has.....I've had Logitech keyboard, mouse, speakers, and other peripherals over the last 14 years with some of them having small defects, but this is by far the worst I have ever encountered. Every dam G Pro keyboard had a defect, even tho I went through 3 G pro keyboards within 3 weeks, each one has its own special defect....

I was a little apprehensive about this purchase as I had a G910 that I used previously. I did not like the G910 keycaps or the Romer switches. After switching back to a Logitech 710 I desired a smaller form factor keyboard so that my mouse had more space to move and my arms were at a more natural position. I also wanted a keyboard that didn't look like a 8 year old that forgot to take his ADD pills and just went on a sugar binge designed. The G Pro offered the benefit of matching the overall style of my current Logitech mouse while using restrained design and offering a small footprint.Turns out the Romer switches are fantastic for gaming and it was the keycaps, both the shape and large size on the G910 that I did not like. The G Pro looks fantastic. It does exactly what I wanted it to in that it takes up a very minimal amount of space, it looks restrained, professional and at the same time it has a quality appearance to it. The lights allow me to match any other lighting I may have, mainly the mouse lights with room to change in the future. The biggest surprise here is how much I liked the switches. MX Blues are better for typing but I can't see trying to game with blues, at least in a FPS game, again.The only con I can really think of is that there is room for a volume scroll wheel yet they choose not to go this route. I'm so used to using the scroll wheel on the 710 it will take some time getting used to short cut cuts that offer steps vs the infinite steps of a scroll wheel. That being said leaving the scroll wheel off does give it a cleaner design.Pros:-Compact size-Restrained, professional, clean aesthetics-Romer G switches-RGB lighting-Very solid build-No bleed through under key cap lighting like most other keyboardsCon-No volume scroll wheel (I'd rather have the clean design over the wheel)

I bought this keyboard 2 years ago for general use and gaming. It hasn't let me down on either front. It's the best keyboard I've had since I started PC gaming 10 years ago. I've actually spilled coffee on it twice now and it's still going. Aside from a few sticky keys lmao.Which I should mention if you like this keyboard and have bigger budget take a look at the 'Logitech G Pro X Mechanical Gaming Keyboard,' it's just on the logitech website at the moment. It's basically this keyboard but it comes with swap-able keys. So in the case that you spill coffee on your board, and keys become sticky but the board itself still works you can just buy a new set of keys. The swap-able keys also allow for a variety of change in the way typing feels etc.I would recommend this keyboard to anyone who wants a more compact board but still has all the primary keys. Out of the box the keys have a satisfying click to them without the loudness of a typical mechanical keyboard. I love that because when my PC was in my bedroom my s.o. could still sleep while I typed at night. It's still not silent though so if you have a light sleeper on your hands I wouldn't recommend it solely on that fact. Also. Discord. It. Doesn't. Come. Through. Your. Mic.The software is great to look at, but I'm honestly not sure how extensive the customization goes since I don't really use it. There are certainly plenty of options and I'm willing to bet it has what you need. Double check first though.

I consider this the best keyboard I have ever worked with, and would highly recommend it for typists. Pressing the keys is fast and feels much easier than an ordinary keyboard. As a mechanical keyboard designed for gaming (which I don't do with it), less force is required to quickly activate the keys and the key presses are smooth so I can type longer comfortably without tiring. It also keeps up with my rapid typing admirably. The key caps have a quality feel with a slightly concave shape ideal for touch typing. It felt so much better to work on this keyboard that I bought two: one for my office and one for my home.With regard to the professional appearance, which is often an issue with mechanical keyboards, it simple black design fits nicely with my office, and the moving multi-coloured default LED backlighting can be changed to a single static professional looking backlight colour. Further, compared with most mechanical keyboards, typing is much more quiet, which helps in a workplace setting.The compact tenkeyless design also makes using my mouse more comfortable than a larger standard keyboard with a numeric keyboard, and it takes less space.The quality is better than any other keyboard I have used, which have been either membrane keyboards or ultra-cheap mechanical keyboards), so it is well-worth trying for ardent typists.

Estaba nervioso en probar este teclado ya utiliza un tipo de switch mecánico nuevo desarrollado por Omron en vez del estándar Cherry MX que utilizan la mayoría de los teclados mecánicos de la competencia.En pocas palabas puedo decir que estoy muy satisfecho con el rendimiento de este producto: las teclas se deslizan suavemente y son silenciosas, se sienten como un híbrido de Cherry MX Brown y Cherry MX Red ya que el punto de actuación es muy similar.Los LEDs son los mejores que he visto de cualquier teclado, son muy brillantes y los colores se ven geniales además de que hay muchos tipos de efectos en los que puedes alternar sin necesidad de instalar el software.La construcción plástica es un poco decepcionante ya que no se siente muy "premium" pero aún así tiene un peso ideal y no tiene ningún acabado que cause desconfianza, el cable removible es de muy alta calidad y es excelente para llevarse el teclado de viaje a un LAN party o al trabajo.A pesar de su precio alto recomiendo ampliamente este teclado ya que es pura calidad y rendimiento.

Personalmente detesto el sonido de los teclado mecanicos, me vuelve loco pero este es pasable y con audifonos no escucho los clicks y no se alcansan a escuchar en el microfono, es increiblemente agil y rapido comparado con el teclado razer deathstalke ultimate que tenia anteriormente, su tiempo de actuacion es aun mas rapido que un chiclet lo que es fantastico para juegos competitivos, es suave como mantequilla al teclear lo que lo hace muy comodo y no cansa.bonus: se quita el cable lo que lo hace muy duradero en caso de que se te rompa, ademas el tamaño es perfecto para toda situacion especialmente si tienes un escritorio pequeño o pega tu mouse con el terclado constatemente, ami me pasaba mucho.

I use this Tenkeyless keyboard for game development, gaming and writing. It works well for all uses so far. It's a beauty to look at, clean simple lines and a large clean font that doesn't look too gamey. It was constructed with metal inside to make it weighted and rigid, and It feels very solid. This thing doesn't move on my desk even when hammering away on it. The backlighting is great for working into the night. It has recessed, programmable rgb lit keys that don't leak all over your desk like many of the other keyboards I looked at before pulling the trigger on this one. Satisfying clicks, without being annoying. The keys are sharp edged, which has a feeling of precision to me. I came from a crappy membrane keyboard, so this mechanical one was a significant upgrade. I've read reviews that said it felt mushy, but that has not been my experience. I demo'd all of the mechanicals in my local computer store, and after looking at the HyperX Alloy Elite RGB and the CORSAIR K95 RGB PLATINUM which were both the same price at the time, I went the other way and almost bought a reddragon k552 tkl that was clicky and had the best tactile feedback for an incredibly low price of $41. In the end the looks, feel, build quality and low sound of this one convinced me. Very happy with my G Pro purchase and I would definitely buy again.
