There is a variable speed dial on this polisher which means users havent been able to find this or understand what the dial does or they received a polisher with a defect which we would replace immediately. Thanks!

I have no idea - but I will say I used the crap out of them and they work good . They won’t last a lifetime but worked better than I expected
