This is an awesome! This allows me to open jars by myself, without having to wait for someone to help me. It's very easy to use, great price, and easy to grip. It's also easy to clean and small enough to store in one of my kitchen drawers. It's a big help to me!

Great! Finally I am able to open everything without pain!! Its cheerful colors help it standout in my drawer . I used both appliances but partially like the smaller one as it fits milk containers and soda bottles. Looks like it should last a long time. Well worth the money, strongly suggest this for anyone with arthritis.

The lid clamp is not big enough for some pickle jars. I didn't actually measure this lid but I estimate it at 3 and a half inches diameter. The clamp tool in this kit is too small to fit that lid. The quality of all the tools seems very good and I was able to open that pickle jar using the disk shaped flexible grip. In other words I did get that pickle jar open, but not with the tool I thought would handle it. It does seem that the clamp-shaped tool will work well on smaller bottles and jars. This is an update to the above comments. I did measure accurately the jar lid that was too big for this tool. It is 3 and 3/8 inches in diameter. I had originally estimated 3 and a half. Only 1/8 inches smaller than my original guess. Then I measured the sizes of the 4 grip locations on the tool. It looks like they will cover caps and lids from about 1 inch to 2 1/2. I also noticed that this tool is double sided so turning it over might be helpful in certain situations.

As my wife and I have gotten older, we've come to the conclusion that struggling with stubborn lids just isn't worth the effort—or the damage to our pride. Eventually we broke down and bought a set of jar-opening aids, and this kit has worked out great. What I like is the variety of sizes and shapes included. There's usually a tool that fits whatever container is giving us trouble, whether it's a factory-sealed jar, an over-tightened lid, or something in between. We're not at the point where opening normal jars is a daily challenge, but every kitchen seems to have a few lids that refuse to cooperate. This kit has been exactly what we needed for those situations. What I like: * works on a wide range of lid sizes * provides much better leverage than bare hands * simple to use * multiple tools for different containers * compact enough to keep in a kitchen drawer One unexpected use has been with jars that I've vacuum sealed myself. I use a chamber vacuum sealer for preserving dry goods, and if I get a little overzealous with the vacuum cycle, those lids can end up extremely tight. In some cases they're actually harder to open than commercially packaged jars. Having these tools around has been a lifesaver for breaking those seals without resorting to improvised methods. This is one of those products that doesn't get used every day, but when you need it, you're very glad it's in the drawer. If you've ever handed a jar to another person because you couldn't get it open—or spent several minutes wrestling with a lid that should have taken seconds—this kit is an inexpensive solution that saves a lot of frustration.

I LOVE these! I've used several of these pieces, and they're a lifesaver! Honestly, if I only ever used them to open a soda can or my Monster, I'd be a happy camper, and ut would be so worth the money, cuz I haven't been able to open a can without a major struggle in close to a decade. They work so well. They're easy to use, they're lightweight, and they provide a stability to the hands that you just don't have if you struggle. And they may be lightweight, but they're still sturdy. You can tell they're well made. I'm so pleased. I wish I'd gotten something like this years ago, but I'm kinda glad I waited for this deal, cuz it was an excellent deal--great bargain, I definitely got my money's worth

Item is okay. However with my older age, it was hard for me to get it to stay on the jar.

I read about this set on Consumer Reports and had to try it. I often have trouble opening jars and this set offers several different sizes to choose from, so the set is extremely functional. Its very easy to use and works like a charm every time I reach for it. Great quality and bang for the buck! I am very pleased with my purchase

I was a bit skeptical if this would actually work but I was proven wrong...very wrong. It works great for all kinds of bottles/jars and is very easy to use. No more joint pain because of jars/bottles. Recommend 100%!

Sturdy feel to product, yet light and easy to use in my hands. After a week of having in my home it is already an essential kitchen tool. I like the colour combination, making it easy to locate in the kitchen draw. Easy to use, giving my hand the much needed rest from the strain of opening jars. The smaller handle is perfect for generic size lids on bottles such as soy sauce and the end can opener is a relief from the strain on my hand - pulling on can tabs. I would recommend this product to young and old people. The silicone mat will be useful too, a great combo pack.
