Be careful removing form bracelet. - I love this one. It works on multiple devices without having to unsync/resync. It only charges in one direction, so make sure it’s charging when you plug it in. Review: Terrible purchase. - Connection issues. Fixed them and they came back. Reconnecting at least 3 or 4 times an hour. Power issues. Goes from 4 power bars to 1 and stops working immediately. Still we tried. Several You-tubers recommend this specific one. I tracked them down and got 2, one for my wife, one for myself. She stopped using it within 2 days and went back to the legitimate Pokemon go plus she did not want to use because there was no way to stop the vibration. She would rather deal with the vibration than this piece of trash. Today, after 22 days, mine will not connect. I tried every method I could find to connect it including but not limited to un-pairing it. I tried connecting through the phone first. I tried connecting through Pokemon Go first. I even tried downloading their app and it would not connect. Merely told me to connect a device to power that I had already connected to the power. I threw mine into the sewer with the rest of the ****. I believe my wife tossed hers into a fire. Don't buy it. It's garbage and the You-tubers lied. Probably paid endorsements.

Easy to use!
Once you have it synced to your pokemon go account, it's very easy to use!! On the watch you can tap to cycle through the options by tapping the U and the screen only displays for a second but you want to make sure there's green check boxes on everything (optional for rotation if you want to flip the watch upside down and optional for vibration) and to get the green check box you long press the U on the watch To sync: You go on your pokemon go game on your phone and go into the "settings", then choose connected devices and services and select "accessory devices" and on the watch you will just tap the U and your phone will ask if you want to pair and you click "pair" and after that there will be a little pokeball on the regular game screen when playing Pokemon go and you can just tap it to reconnect really fast for the future! The watch is responsive when auto catching, it charges fast! The watch attempts to auto catch pokemon (it's not successful 100% but it's so fun still!) it also will auto spin poke stops! Easy connectivity if you know what you're doing, the price is great! Overall performance I love it! Hope this helps!

More reliable than official Go Plus; some annoying quirks
Mostly works as intended. Biggest annoyance is that it's very easy to accidentally touch the screen for a couple seconds and cause it to vibrate and show some kind of black screen with white numbers. Even if I just have it in my pocket, sometimes my thigh touching the screen through the fabric is enough to frequently trigger this annoyance. The other annoying part is the HORRIBLE charger. It attaches with a very weak magnet and it's difficult to tell when you're putting it on upside down. The slightest bump can disconnect it so forget about charging on the go, you have to carefully connect it while sitting on a desk and don't touch it. Best thing about it: This is the second go-tcha I've had (also had a first generation model) and both work better with my Google phones than the official Go Plus device which almost NEVER worked. Even if the go-tcha didn't have the automatic catch and spin features, I'd still buy it instead of the official Go Plus.

Not happy with purchase after 5 months.
Let’s start with what isn’t great about it. The charging cable doesn’t connect like you would hope, the cable itself is only about 3 inches long and the magnet that connects to the device isn’t very strong, making charging awkward, you have to prop the device somewhere so it will charge and hope that the cord doesn’t move and disconnect. If you’ve ever had a messed up cellphone cord you know what I’m talking about. I bought mine in February 2025 and now on July 4th I can’t get it to charge at all. You have the option to disable vibration, but if you’ve ever wear it around your wrist and something presses against it for like 2 seconds it will vibrate and display the version number. I had to stop wearing it when I was at work or at the movies because it would just keep going off because something was touching it. I had my original gotcha for more than 4 years and never had these issues so I was expecting an upgrade with this one but that’s not what I feel I got. When it does work it performs well, it auto spins and catches which is what it was designed to do. Not sure if it’s just the gotcha I got or if it’s all like this but I would really consider look at other options.

Dissapointing
The charger doesn't stay connected to the device very well. The device won't stay connected to the app very well. There's a Go-tcha classis app that doesn't appear to do anything. Occasionally I will get it to connect to my game and catch things for me but it rarely works on the first try and usually disconnects itself after 5-10 minutes. I waited to write this review till I could be sure I wasn't doing something wrong but the troubleshooting support for this is nonexistent. Oh and when it does work the battery lasts only about 6-8 hours in my experience. Don't waste your money.

Works fine, terrible charging
This works fine for playing and seems to last for 7 to 8 hours of continuous play, does the same basic job as an original Go-tcha. Problem arises with charging, I bought this to replace my wife's evolve which had it's leads break off when I pulled the band off to recharge. (The Evolves recharge design is also terrible) so we decided to try this one. It has a better battery life than the Evolve, however it's probably almost as bad to charge as the evolve. The Charge cord is short, the "magnetic" interface does not grapple well, & the device does not tell you when it's disconnected. It's a trifecta of horror. I use a portible battery charger to charge it so I can see when the battery stops charging the device in cases of disconnect. If you can get it cheaply and want to nursemaid it during the charging, then enjoy, if not just buy a regular go-tcha and save yourself the headache. 😶

Lightening Speed
I order at a reasonable price one day and receive it the very next. Perfect

classic gotcha
I bought this item to replace my original gotcha, what was I thinking!!!!! what a waste of money. It never lasts through a full day, it disconnects frequently and most of the time can not turn it on again. Horrible to charge and although its only 3 months old, the screen is now partially black and unable to see the icons.

DO NOT BUY SCAM. BATTERY LAST LESS THAN 3 HOURS
WHAT A SCAM, I HAD THE OLDER VERSION, WORKED PERFECTLY AND FOR 2+ YEARS I WAS ABLE TO USE THE GOTCHA FOR LIKE 24+HOURS STRAIGHT, NO BATTERY DROP. THIS NEW VERSION CONNECT WHENEVER IT LIKES, THE BATTERY DOES NOT LAST OVER 3 HOURS. WHAT A SCAM!

Not fully functional
1) Red LED ring does not light up. 2) Settings animations work but catch/spin animations do not. 3) Has a puck style charger (as shown on the Datel website. It is VERY difficult to charge as the cord is short and it keeps falling off the back (Charger nodes are located on the bottom and sit against the wrist). 4) It was very difficult to set up but, once done, future connecting is easy. 5) Catch settings change almost every time the Gotcha is charged. 6) Spare chargers seem to be unavailable for this model. Some posts say you can use the charger from a Xioami Mi5 but, I have one of these and, they are NOT compatible.

There’s a reason it’s slightly cheaper
One of my biggest mistakes on Amazon was buying this. Not only is it a suboptimal product with never ending buzzing and settings that accidentally get set by just having it around, some of which appears to be just for show since if you select you don’t want it to collect Pokémon or spin pokestops, it does it anyways. The worst part is it uses a charger that is magnetic, is hard to stick to it and that doesn’t stay still or in the same position. I have lost this stupid trash item so many times just falling off the bad magnetic charger. Part of me hopes it’s gone permanently this time because I can’t handle this company or their products
