ASPECTEK Predator Eye Solar Animal Deterrent - 2 Pack, Flashing Red Light Repeller to Help Scare Coyotes, Deer, Raccoons, Skunks and Foxes, Outdoor Pest Control for Garden, Yard, Farm and Coop

Works well as advertised.

Great

I really think these sensors are working, the deer are not nearly as interested in my hosta. I have been trying a lot of home remedies, so maybe it is a combination.

I found it does not work on raccoons. They are not fazed by it. If raccoons are your problem, do not waste your money. See attached video. Direct line of sight from device to raccoon... maybe 25' max. I also took the second device, deployed on the patio and put a pile peanuts/hazel nuts 2' in front of it. I do not know what kind of critter got the prize but even at this range, did not work. A motion detector on it would be an improvement.

These work well, charging all day and blinking red all night. I don't know if they are effective but we haven't had any kills since we started using them. The football shaped shiny piece is peeling off in our extreme weather (Vegas) but I doubt that makes much difference. I can glue them back on. So far so good, been a month. Update: one of the units finally stopped working - it's been almost 5 YEARS. One is still working. We have not had a night prowler in all that time. Going to buy replacements, and more for other parts of my yard while I'm at it, as the coyotes seems to have found creative ways of entry.

The predator units charge with very little sunlight but the biggest problem is the unit is not waterproof!! Here in Washington state it rains all winter, everyday !! I bought 6 units last summer and they worked fine until I noticed they stopped blinking! I thought the batteries were dead and wouldn't take a charge! I took them apart and they were wet inside from rain leaking in around the solar panel!! They are good for 6 months to 1 year then you can buy them again!! One more thing is they don't scare any animals away!! I use them around my Koi pond and raccoons, rabbits, cats, dogs all ignore the flashing red light!! I have game cameras set up and the animals go up to it , check it out and then ignore it!! Sooo it has a short lifespan and doesn't scare predators away!! It's not worth the money!!

Fast delivery, easy install, seems to be working, (the LED is flashing at night). I bought this item for our chickens, in the area we live, a lot of people raise chickens, and have problems with raccoons, so we will see. I will update this review after about a week or so. Ok, so here's an update: 9 July 2015. One of the units didn't seem to work, so I contacted Aspectek, told them what's was going on. They sent me a two pack, to replace the one unit that was not working. That was very nice of them, I thought. I got it about 3 days. These units are working great, I even put one unit near my KOI pond, no problems with any night time critters. I am going to order about 6 more, just to put out near my goats, and on my fence. I think these work and are great. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The predator eyes are a great product and seem to last forever! I have a field in my backyard and coyotes are often out there. I put these on my chain link fence to help deter the coyotes from getting too close to my yard, especially at night. I want to do whatever is possible to protect my 3 cats and 2 dogs. I think this might be a little hard to prove how much this really works, but since I've used these (over 12 years now) I have not lost any cats. Maybe I have smarter cats? I think it might be a little of both!

It works

War eigentlich sehr zufrieden, allerdings bereits ein Gerät nach kurzer Zeit schon defekt. Nicht empfehlenswert!
