Elbow grease pays off
Great product. I put in about 5 hours prep then 3 of us finished it in a 10 hour day. Instructions are mostly clear and buying your own lumber makes all the difference. This thing is solid. Recommend cutting as you go if your carpentry skills arenโt perfect and youโre not building on perfectly level ground. All pieces were accounted for. Only small issue was one 7 inch carriage bolt (key to holding the beam up), wasnโt threaded. Was able to replace it later with no real issues. Would buy from this company again.

The parts rusted, the instructions are incomplete.
I was able to put this together due to my experience in DIY but the instructions really are incomplete as there are several different configurations and they don't instruct you on how to achieve them. Also the parts are sub par and rusting withing 6 months of use. Finally the bolts holding the main beam are very small, and don't feel stable.

Read the instructions, it'll be worth the time!
We love the set now that it is all put together. I really liked how sturdy the whole set is since we got to pick the wood. Here are a few things that would be good to know before building 1) if you are ordering wood and participating in curbside pick up make sure you check the wood before you go, the store might not care if they give you warped wood 2) you have to buy the deck screws! Not included in the hardware. 3) buy an extra box of 3" screws just in case 4) having a long (10") 5/16ths drill bit will save you from measuring and not having the holes lined up. 5) study the instructions 6) we were able to get treated 2x4 but not treated 2x6, if we would have known we would have gotten more 2x4 and did the rail panels (30" cuts) 7) you need 2 people 8) if you want to customize it, you can! We moved the slide to fit our yard better. All in all, I'm happy with the playground and I can't wait to paint it and make it more awesome.

A great set for a great price!
This kit is the way to go for those of us on a more average budget. I wanted a good play set for my kids, but I didnโt want to pay $5K. Iโm not cheap, but if I can save money by doing something myself, Iโm going to. The lumber, all pressure treated, was about $450. We bought this set, a saucer swing (and lumber/supplies) for the other side, a small rock walk kit. We built another A frame in the same dimensions as the one the kit instructions said to make for the saucer swing, I also bought an extra support bracket for the end. We added solar lights recently too. Total cost, including all the extras, was just about $800. We had everything cut and stained prior to having two friends over to help assemble. It took three adults just about 4 hours to put it together, start to finish, sigh varying levels of skill. My 6 year old and 4 year old love it! Very blessed to have gotten this for them for Christmas right before this pandemic! Not a very good product.
The instructions are not written correctly and we only got part of our hardware. I had to go buy my own hardware. The entire thing is ridiculous and you have to know a lot about construction to figure out the instructions. Would not buy again.

no lumber included, may need to buy lengths other than directions depending levelness of ground.
Slide has too big of drop and should end more gradually. rest of equipment is good quality.

Good kit if you have experience with projects/woodworking.
Instructions are good but not great. Some steps don't go in to great detail. The hardware provided is mostly torx/star pits but the instructions specify phillips bits. Not a big deal but worth knowing before you start building it. The lumber cut list is good and accurate. It helps to cut all the lumber beforehand. The box was heavily damaged with some of the metal brackets bent and damaged. It wasn't a huge deal but I will have to paint some parts to slow down future rust.

Total cost kit and lumber $400, saves money
This set is amazing. Once the recommended wood was added this set was way sturdier than any other set you could buy with wood included. Between lumber and the needed screws and supplies we spent about $200-$225, with this kit the total cost was around $400. None of the kits near this price that include wood came anywhere near the quality of this set. My only issues with this set were the chipping paint and incorrect/lacking supply list. The paint was chipped on the ladder bars and at some future time will need to be recoated to avoid rust and corrosion. The description of the supply/lumber list on the amazon site is not quite accurate. The list that comes with the kit also lists two additional 5/4โx6โx8โ boards, and you do need them. Also there is no listing for the types of additional screws you need, you have to read the individual/paragraph directions to discover this which are exterior 2โ, 2 1/2โ, and 3โ screws. But these complaints are trivial, more annoyance than anything else. Bottom line, this is a great kit for the price and when built with the needed lumber is comparable to kits that cost $1000 or more.
