We installed these to give our accent/party lighting a nicer look and make sure it stayed on the wall. It looks nice and gives a pleasant glow on the wall/ceiling despite the hotspots on the cover. It will take more than what these and a normal LED tape strip can offer to get rid of those so I'm not holding that against these. The hardest part was lining them up evenly together in a line, but that's always the nature of hanging things. The LED tape attached cleanly in the provided space in the channel and the cover attached with a little effort, but not too bad. It doesn't slide and has to be pressed into place so start in the right place or it will be off when you get to the end. We angled ours up so it would create a gentle area glow and so there was less reflection on the TV. You only see the channel when you first walk into the room. They look good enough our neighbors wanted to know where we bought them when they first saw them. I also bought the matching extension connectors from the same company to keep the pieces lined up cleanly. The LED tape connector to add the second piece of LED tape barely fit under the cover and causes a little bulge.

I have wanted to install WS2811 LED strips outdoors and settled on this V shape channel since it would fit very nicely on the bottom of my fascia boards. By installing these on the bottom of my fascia, they are almost invisible when not lit. My fascia is painted white and the milky white covers blend in seamlessly when the LED strips are off. Installation was relatively straightforward. The 2m strips minimized the amount of joints I had to do. I also used their 1m product so I could easily overlap the cover joints while maximizing the use of 2m milky white cover strips. I attached a clamp about every 19 - 20 inches and used a large clamp at the junctions of two rails. Once I had a rhythm going for the installation, it all went in pretty smoothly. The installation of the LED strip lighting was quite easy. Installing the milky white cover took a little effort to ensure both the top and bottom snap in solidly in the channel. Overall I am very happy with the result. Time will tell how these will hold up to the Southern CA sun but based on some tests I did with sample product, I did not see any detectable yellowing of the milky white covers. I realize this product is not rated for outdoor use but I did not see any comparable outdoor rated product. The channel material is aluminum and should hold up being installed outdoors. The bracket hardware and screws and standard sheet metal and will likely rust with direct exposure to rain and high humidity. Mounting these to the bottom of the fascia minimizes direct exposure to rain and generally, we have low humidity in Southern CA.

Excellent product for installing LED strip lights under your eve of your house and protecting the lights. The frost on the covers does not interfere with the lights, instead it refuses it and spreads it over a broader visual area.

Great look and fairly easy install. The supplied screws were pretty chintzy and I had to purchase different ones to put into the aluminum rail in my Florida room. That's the only thing that kept them from a 5 star review. Makes the install look awesome.
