Gahhhh i love him i love him i love him!! 😍 Yas i love him! Could not put this novella down! In fact i read it again immediately after!! Yes daddy! 😂😂Carey Slade... jock, player, 6" 4inch, 250lb hunk of loving!This is an incredible addition to the fighting series family. Even though its short it packs a punch! Within the first chapter my mouth was hanging open sayin "ohhhhhh wait till your mama finds out young Slade!" Yes he was a teeny tiny bit selfish in his younger years but meh it did absolutely zero to put me off him. I knew i'd love him whatever!Poor Rowan. She broke my heart a little. Not the best of lives and then Carey happened... i won't spoil it but you're meant to hate him a little at this point. Then some years later he storms into her life again flashing that dimple! How could she resist?! She tried and i loved that about her but pfft she stood no chance! How can you resist that Slade charm! You can not! I thought she was perfect for Carey and i really enjoyed her personality. She was understated funny, sweet with a little bit of fire.The whole story captivated me. I loved the funny bits, the Daddy scene had me howling in laughter. I absolutely adored the fighting family cameo's. Carey's banter with Jack was another highlight 💩. Of course Jonah and Raven and Sadie were awesome. Also the little nod to Rex 😍😍 I loved all the feels. The advice from Jonah had me wanting to go back to the start. The situation Rowan was in tugged on the old heartstrings. And i just loved the special connection between Carey and Rowan it was truly beautiful.This series is just amazing and needs to go on and on, forever and ever! You don't need to have read the fighting series but you be nuts if you don't!The little note at the end from JB.... YESSSSSSSSSSSS GIRL!!! I'm already claiming Spider! That boy has my name all over him! 😂😂😂 Exciting times!!

IM GONNA NEED CAREY FOR REAL.....Sweet mother of god he’s HOTThe book was BRILLIANT loved Rowan she was very determined to get through life even though it wasn’t easy for her, the fight to get a better life and not depend on others was something that drew me to her.Carey was at first your typical gorgeous guy who clicked his fingers and the girls come running but you got to see the other side that’s very protective much like his dad, but also loyalty to those around him. Both he and Rowan were made for each other the chemistry was of the charts from the get go...My only complaint I NEED MORE 😭😭😭😭 lol like seriously woman they need another book and those room mates especially spider 😝😂

I really really like this author if Maryse Blacks emails weren't a thing I don't think I would find these authors. Great book and characters I like how the truth comes out and you get the consequences of both sides, really like the style of writing. I definitely recommend this author.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was so freaking a...mazing!!! I’ve been in a book slump lately so this surprise email was a true gift - thanks a million JB. Just wish it was longer and I enjoyed getting to know Carey and Roman. They were beautiful together. And I am totally down for the other guys’ books. Bring it on! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

I absolutely love read JB Salsbury books. This one was not a disappointment it had me hooked from beginning to end.I love that Carey was a little bit of a bad boy, picturing him wasn’t hard and my mind went crazy with how he looks in person. I love that Carey got under Ro’s skin.I want more of them, please do some more.Thank you for the holiday read, but I want another one please think about it loll.

One of THE best ebook prezzy ever!Oh my god Carey Slade is amazeballs and Rowan is just epic. They vibe off each so well it’s not even funny. There’s a reason Rowan shouldn’t have lent him her pencil. But she never knew he was the cause of her life diversion.This was short and sweet and can’t WAIT to see the gang again 🥰🥰🥰

Really liked this book based on two characters who first meet at the end of high school and something goes wrong for one of them. They then meet again in college and the story begins. Really felt the emotions and felt sorry for the fc. The sex included is written well and I would definitely recommend this boo
