Did not receive enough connecting pieces to get 8 ten foot poles. But overall quality is good and break down well to fit in camper.

These poles are functional, but they're not sturdy enough on their own to support a 24-foot strand of outdoor lights. I needed to use the patio umbrellas as mid-span supports to reduce the load. Without the additional support, the poles leaned inward, and some of the screwed-together connections began to pull apart slightly.

These string light poles are very sturdy and well made. The adjustable 10 ft height is perfect for my backyard patio lights. Installation was simple, and the poles stay stable even with multiple string lights attached. The metal feels heavy duty, and the rustproof finish looks great outdoors. The included hooks are convenient. Great value for a 6-pack and perfect for parties or everyday backyard lighting!

These are NOT heavy duty. The poles come in sections which screw together. The joints are weak and the poles flex. They are not rigid and not capable of holding much weight. We bought these for a 8x10 canopy. The poles were too weak to hold it upright without bending. I do not recommend these for windy areas or projects for which the poles are meant to hold weight.

We were going to have wood or composite poles placed in the ground to hold our lights in place. Due to the fact that we have a very slow crew working for us, we decided to go with these and could not be happier. They are strong, easy to install, and they hold up well to rain, and I’m certain they will do well in the winter as well.
