Bosch R2597 - Cabin Filter activated-carbon

I replaced it on my 2014YM VW Scirocco.

The pacakage received broken and the filter is cracked , look like used before . Not original part .

It fits perfectly into the housing (assuming you’ve checked your model), and the immediate improvement in air quality is noticeable. If you suffer from hay fever, this filter acts as a high-security checkpoint, trapping pollen and fine dust before it reaches your lungs. While it’s providing fresh, crisp air right now, the real "truth" about activated carbon is its saturation point. Only time will tell how long that carbon layer remains active. Eventually, it will "fill up" with pollutants and become just another regular filter, meaning those city smells will start creeping back into the cabin. Bosch recommends replacing these every year or 15,000km for a reason. For now, it’s a premium, lung-saving necessity that keeps your car's interior smelling like a clean room rather than a motorway tunnel.
