Because I don't read a lot of mythology, I was first apprehensive to read this book, which I just so happened to read.I initially believed it to be a children's book, but after I started reading it, I was unable to put it down. a benefit for readers of Indian mythology. The author of this work mentions Ashtavakra, a famous sage. Learning about Ashtavakra's life was both intriguing and incredibly inspiring.This 124-page book, which is comprised of 24 short stories, had a profound and perceptive effect on me. You can find fascinating stories and other stories in each chapter. The book illuminates a number of historical events that people may or may not be familiar with, and it was interesting to learn the religious justifications for some events. At the start of each chapter are lovely drawings. This book has stories that are exquisitely written, in-depth, and written in simple language, making them simple to understand and quick to read. Short stories, particularly mythological short stories, usually have something unique to offer. That's because they consistently abide by the established guidelines for the trade. These engaging tales are appropriate for readers of all ages, from young children to grandparents.The goal of this book is to tell more people about the magnificent country of Bharat. Up to the very last word, I was unable to put this book down. We were there in a short amount of time. Each chapter teaches the reader a new narrative because the stories are all distinct and unrelated.

People who are specially living in India definitely should know about our culture and ancient mythology. In each chapter you can read exciting tales and other stories. The book sheds light on various stories that happened in ancient times that people may or may not know, and it was nice to read why certain things happen from a religious perspective. Glad that my friend recommended Ashtavakra to me. This is my first read in the Indian Mythology niche. Although I thought the subject would not interest me, the well-written chapters which have got deep meanings within changed my view on the topic of mythology itself. The fact that the stories hail from the tradition of Bharat, the spirit of patriotism is well brought throughout the book. This would be a great buy if one is looking to explore the roots of Indian culture and history. Would surely recommend it for all age groups, especially kids, who could then simply take forward the legacy.Well titled “Unusual Tales of the Country called Bharat”, has a clear hint on what to expect within the pages. Yet another part that turned out to be interesting is about the author himself, just cool to see how such a creative personality exists behind a busy IT professional.
