Not Correctly Advertised
I have given this item 1 star only for the fact that this item wasn't advertised as the American version of the receiver, so this is relating to the voltage being 120 not the UK voltage of 240. This receiver has been available for over 18 months in the states and Canada and when correspondence amerged it will be available in Europe (240 voltage option) in Autum I kept checking various selling platforms. So checked on the UK Amazon site it was being sold I ordered 1, not very happy when it finally arrived and it was the 120 voltage version. I have sent it back (got a full refund), there is options to buy various electrical add ons so the 120 option is OK to use here in this country but didn't want anymore bulky electrical boxes on show.

The Heart of My Home Theater
The TX-NR7100 has been one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my home theater. Setup was straightforward, and once everything was connected, the improvement in sound quality was immediately noticeable. I’m currently running Klipsch RP-8000F II towers, an RP-504C II center, RP-500SA Atmos speakers, RP-502S II surrounds, and a large ported subwoofer. The receiver has no problem driving the entire system and delivers clean, dynamic sound whether I’m watching movies, gaming, or listening to music. Dialogue is crystal clear, surround effects are precise, and action scenes have the kind of impact that makes you feel like you’re in the middle of the movie. The Dirac Live room correction was a huge bonus and helped dial everything in for my room. HDMI 2.1 support worked perfectly with my gaming setup, and the menus are easy to navigate once you spend a little time with them. Pros: * Excellent sound quality * Plenty of power for larger speaker systems * Dirac Live room correction included * HDMI 2.1 support for modern consoles * Easy setup and configuration Cons: * Runs a little warm, so give it room to breathe * Dirac setup takes some time, but the results are worth it Overall, this receiver exceeded my expectations and has become the centerpiece of my theater. If you’re building a serious surround sound system and want great performance without jumping into much more expensive equipment, the TX-NR7100 is an easy recommendation. 💪🏼🔊🎬

Onkyo 7100 is the best value
This my second Onkyo after purchasing a TX-NR797, 5 years ago. This 7100 receiver was relatively easy to set-up. The internet installed fast. The connections are plenty, however I wasn’t sure whether I wanted my Samsung 85 to be the brains or Onkyo 7100 receiver. I went with my Samsung for now. So now the EARC is running from television to receiver. Cogeco cable box and Sony 4K player are hooked up via Samsung. One big selling feature was Dirac Live. I waited until it was very quiet. I downloaded the IOS version on phone first but I couldn’t get the App to work properly. I troubleshot online and downloaded the Windows version. That did the trick. The audio sounds brilliant now. I have a 7.1.2 configuration. Klipsch fronts, centre and sub, Definitive Technology bi-polars mid-surrounds, Sony atmos ceiling speakers and Energy back surrounds. We watched the 4K Elvis movie. The sound was 100% legit, it is Man Cave approved. The Onkyo answered the bell with immersive sound. I have only begun to maximize the 7100’s capabilities, but to me this receiver is phenomenal value and comes highly recommended by me.

No decodifica MQA. PROS: Potencia: 100W, 2Ch, 8 Ohm. THX, Dolby Atmos, DTS-X, Chromecast, Dirac (calibracion). Funciona bien con XBOX SeriesX en 4K-120Hz. CONS: No tiene salidas preamplificadas por lo que no se puede usar como controlador AVR con amplificadores externos.
