Great taste! Mixes very smoothly with water in my shaker cup.As I donate Plasma regularly I need to keep my protien levels up, this product has really helped as it can be hard to get 100 - 120 grams of protien in a day with my diet alone.For the price this has been the highest protien and better tasting products I have tried so far. I also like the Steawberry Shake flavor and will try the others as well to keep the variety going.As I am not using these as meal replacements but protien additions I'm pleasantly finding that I'm not gaining weight I've actually lost a few pounds and hope that trend continues.Will definitely purchase again.

I love this tasty, whey protein drink. I drink the strawberry. 25g of protein in a scoop, and very low carb, and low fat? What's not to like? Much more economical than trying to eat lots of chicken breast meat, and honestly, tastier! I make smoothies with the powder, using skim milk and non-fat, vanilla Greek yogurt - even more protein! For a real treat, I mix a scoop of the strawberry powder with a cup of non-fat, Greek yogurt (no milk). It's almost like a pudding consistency! Anyone that works out, knows that protein is essential. This whey protein gives me what I need, at a reasonable price point, and it tastes great. It's ideal for a meal replacement. NOTE: the whey powder does NOT have all sorts of vitamins and minerals in it - it's stripped down. I make sure my diet contains other, healthy sources for vitamins and minerals, and I supplement. I've been very happy with this product. For those of you who don't like strawberry, the company offers other flavors. Or, no flavor at all, if you prefer! Cheers!

I loved this bc theres 70 servings in this tub. I don't mind vanilla, it's plain and can be mixed easily with other things to make flavor. Good protein, mixes well enough, and the cost to portion ratio is good. I'm not a gym goer or athlete, I'm just a person who struggles to get enough protein so I can't say how well it supports gains or building bulk tho fyi

I've been using protein powders for about 20 years, and I've tried many brands in my time. I usually use vanilla flavored protein, as that flavor tends to compliment just about every other type of flavor one would mix it with. Since a lot of my regular protein brands have jumped up in price severely, I figured I'd give this one a shot and see how it was.When it comes to taste, this brand's vanilla flavor has a distinct buttery overtone that can be hit or miss, depending on how one is planning to use it. For baking (Yes, try baking with whey powder to boost up the protein content of muffins or whatever), this might be a real win! Most vanilla flavored protein won't add much sweetness to things, but it will contribute to the overall result in terms of flavor (for better or worse). For my preferences, the flavor detracts from how I use it. I'm prefer a much more straightforward vanilla flavor, and the buttery flavors just throw me off. You might personally like that, and if so, then this is the protein for you!Another small gripe is that when I mix this with my shaker in my post-workout concoction, it tends to foam up A LOT. I attribute this to the fact that all the protein in this is whey CONCENTRATE, and not a mix of isolate AND concentrate, which is what I'm used to. No matter what, protein is protein, and whether it's concentrate or isolate, the protein amount and quality is the same in the end. The difference is that isolate is approximately (by volume) 90% protein and concentrate is approximately 79% protein, which means that there's a bit more of the other components of the milk that the whey originally came from that are present. A bit more fat, sodium, and cholesterol will be in it, but a far smaller amount than whole milk, of course. All this to say that when I mix my shake, I have to let it sit on the counter undisturbed for over 10 minutes just to get the foam to decrease and become somewhat drinkable. It still has a lot of foam after that, but at least it's not an overwhelming amount at that point.In conclusion, I think this protein is a price conscious smart buy, assuming the cost (about $56 a lbs at the time of writing this) stays relatively the same. I like the consistency of the dry powder, as it's a satisfying granular texture vs the flour-like texture I'm used to with the isolate dominant varieties I normally consume. The buttery taste is ok, but the foaming really gets to me. It's such an annoyance that I'll probably keep searching for a similarly priced product that won't foam as much after mixing. If you're OK with a little extra foam and a buttery vanilla flavor, then this is right for you.

This is perfect if you’re just looking for straight-up protein with nothing added. No weird flavors, no sweeteners, no junk. Just clean protein that mixes well and gets the job done.I usually blend it into smoothies or oatmeal and honestly, you can’t even taste it. It’s super neutral, which is what I was going for. No aftertaste or chalky texture either.If you’re trying to keep things simple and avoid all the flavored stuff with fillers, this is a solid pick. Will definitely keep buying.

This stuff is fantastic. It's not very chocolaty, but the taste is still excellent. I'm glad I purchased this stuff. Great basic whey protein. Easy to add, easy to shake, and lightly filling.

If you can get impact whey protein from myprotein when it comes on sale, that is the best bang for you buck. But the sales have been lacking lately so I ordered this.I’ve been really happy with this protein. The price is acceptable for a 5lb tub (not as good as myprotein when on sale), especially compared to some of the bigger name brands. The chocolate flavor is smooth and not overly sweet, which I like. It mixes well with both water and milk, and doesn’t leave that weird aftertaste that some cheaper proteins do. Definitely a solid choice if you want good quality without breaking the bank.
