Fake, does not have the correct markings. The box and labels look authentic but the chain is not.

I believe I was sent a fake SRAM chain so it was returned. The images show the differences. The genuine chain has SRAM stamped in italics and "RIV-D1" stamped around the rivets. The fake one has neither of these features.

Usual good quality from sram
A very good chain, what you would expect from sram. I had to shorten mine which proved not to be easy with my small park tool chain breaker. This is a tough chain and I had to take a grinder to loosen one side of the pin. Comes with the standard connector link which works really well, good you tube stuff on how to lock the connector and installing if you don’t know how. If this is your first time changing a chain, suggest you take some pics of your derailleur with your phone before proceeding and be sure you are in your smallest cog.
