Are these non toxic? What is the country of origin?

I don't know the country of origin for the glue sticks, but I suspect that like 90% of USA craft products, they come from China. Nevertheless buying thru Amazon is quick, easy and reasonable and I just can't do without glue sticks for the many crafts I make and gift.
