DF-SA100L-CP RV Shower Valve Diverter (Chrome)

I've installed this in our 2017 Newmar Bay Star 3208 to replaced the OE single-handle faucet. The dual-handle faucet is a godsend for equalizing temperature! The OE faucet had seemingly 1/8" between painfully hot versus stupidly cold; now both feeds can be individually tailored to the proper temperature. Removal of the old unit consisted of detaching the shower head hose using a box-end wrench, removing four phillips screws, then gently cutting away the factory silicon sealant to peel the factory faucet loose from the shower wall. For our Newmar, the water lines are a simple screw-on affair, thus simply unscrew the fittings and pull the old faucet completely out. Follow up with a bit of light scraping (using a plastic tool) to remove the old caulking from the shower wall, along with a good scrubbing with some shower cleaner to get rid of any residual grossness which might have been hiding underneath. Installation is the reverse of installation: apply a continuous thin bead of silicone caulk to the back of the fixture where it will attach to the wall, carefully reconnect the hoses and tighten them hand-tight at most, apply the fixture to the wall without sliding it around (to avoid making a mess with the caulking) and reinstall the phillips screws. Do the needful to clean up any extra caulk which might have squeezed out, and then wait for it all to dry properly. The fixture matches the shower décor of truck, to the point where it looks like it's just OE equipment. It works so much better than the OE equipment; 10/10 would do again!

Just updated my RV with this product. Easy install, light weight, perfect for RV life. I picked levers instead of turn knobs so it’s easier to tell which way is on/off when trying to conserve water. This upgrade plus new RV shower head I bought was the PERFECT combo!!! So pleased with it.

I bought a new shower head and really needed a new faucet to match and this faucet works perfectly. It’s easy to install and looks nice. I would definitely recommend this to someone who is remodeling their RV!

It's a faucet after all. But it's got about 25 cents worth of plastic and I paid 25 bucks for it...It seems to work fine and hopefully it will last... But I just don't know how they could make them any cheaper...

I love the faucet. Excellent replacement for my basic RV faucet. It was very easy to replace. It took less than 1 hour. Highly recommended this product.

Works and looks great in my motorhome shower

Great price and eliminated the annoying spigot shutoff plunger from my previous faucet. All I needed was a connection for a shower in the RV (no tub). I would have given 5 stars for easy to install except the RV water lines were hard to connect, not the faucet. Would recommend for others.

Don't be fooled by the "Chrome" description, nor the "Dura" part of the name. It's plastic, period. It's typical of what you find in most RV's, and lasts until it doesn't. Then you upgrade to something better, which I did after this started to leak. It feels cheaper than it costs. Did I mention it's plastic...?

Ok quality, looks great in our RV shower. It’ll be interesting if the product peels after time as it’s made of plastic with a silver overcoat. Not the same quality you’d buy for your house. After a month of usage, they look great, definite upgrade to the original RV shower taps.
