Seems slightly overpriced but still worth it. The quality of the glass is great, traveled to work with no leaks or spillage in tote bag, easy to microwave homemade soup inside or rice with mushrooms and veggies. Sized smaller than other regular ball jars I have bought in the past but it’s actually perfect.

There’s not much that needs to be said about Ball as a brand - they’ve been around forever (my grandma refused to use anything else for her canning). I bought some of these for food storage and they arrived intact. The glass is thick and feels high quality. The seals work well so far. Pretty much exactly what I expected when I ordered them. They’re great for canning, storage or even projects like some other reviewers have posted. One tip I can give if you are cleaning/reusing these jars would be to get a set of cleaning brushes like these or something similar. I know these are actually designed for water bottles but they work great for cleaning around the curved lip of the regular mouth jars. You can always get the wide mouth jars for easier cleaning too.

I use these jars as my drinking glasses. I can easily measure 12 oz of filtered water before adding cranberry or any other juice. I have a hard time drinking water in sufficient quantity every day so by drinking a few glasses in this vessel I am closer to drinking the volume I am supposed to drink. After water is in the glass I add juice to make a full glass less than a quarter cup of juice.

Every holiday I make my family a different kind of alcohol. Sometimes it is Apple Pie Moonshine, sometimes it is Lemoncello. Either way - no one ever asks if I'd like my mason jar back. Long story short...I do meal prep and make all of my week's meals on my one night off. When I'm planning on smoothies, I like to make all 7 breakfasts for the week, but I only had 5 mason jars. This two-pack was just what I needed. They arrived securely bubble-wrapped and without any damage. They're easy to wash, super versatile, and 100% leak-proof. These sit on their side in my lunch bag and they don't leak a drop!

I wanted these for making and storing homemade ranch dressing, and they work fine for that. One cup of milk, one cup of mayo (except I use nonfat Greek yogurt) and three tablespoons of the ranch powder fit perfectly in this size jar. I wish the lids were one piece instead of the ring and cap like they are. I actually bought some jam from a local farm store, and they had the same size jars with one-piece lids, so I adopted those lids instead of the ring ones that came with these. If I had thought about it, I would have just saved my money on these jars (which seem a little pricey to me), and used the jam jars for my dressing, but I didn't think about it until it was too late. So if you have access to other jars, such as used jam jars, save your money and use those. But if you need mason jars, these are OK.

My creative craft-loving 7 year old niece wanted to make her own version of a snow globe so I bought these jars, food coloring, glitter, tube glitter and tiny styrofoam balls. They’re great quality and they totally did the trick. The next day, my 4 year old niece made a snow glove with the other jar and supppies and they’re awesome! It was nice to find the Ball brand, too, a brand my grandfather always insisted on. And I’m glad I got them - they’re quality and the girls snow gloves will hold up for years to come. Recommend!

I absolutely love mason jars and use them for just about everything. I bought these to reuse as my coffee mug between home and work and they work great for that. My only issue with mason jars is that the lids tend to rust easily, even just from tea or coffee between the metal and glass, so I do end up having to replace them within a few months if I'm not careful. Lastly, I bought two mason jars from this listing for 8$. I went out a few months later and found 4 for 6$ at my local shopping center, so a word to the wise, try looking for them in person first as they'll likely be much cheaper.

All of my jars arrived safe and sound, packed well in lots of bubble wrap and quickly! I used some of my jars to fill a centerpiece I had made, I put fairy lights and silk flowers in them and it looks fabulous! With the 2 that were left over I bought conversion kits and made them into soap dispensers for 2 of my bathrooms. I couldn’t have been more pleased with my purchase.
