iSpring AFW43 Water Systems Feed Water Adapter, Fits 1/2" NPT and 3/8" COMP, Cold Water Supply Valve

Installed to add my old filtration system directly to a sink mounted faucet. It installed very easy. The supplied adapter works great. There are no leaks. I have used the valve several times in the past few days to turn on/off the water to diagnose a leak(s) on my old filter system. Still no leaks on this cold line adapter. It feels solid. I recommend this for anyone wanting to add a 1/4" OD tubing cold water feed adapter for their filter system or other needs.

Not to be confused with Amazon Services, this review is for iSpring. They deserve a 5 rating across the board. It's a quality product at a reasonable value and with exceptional customer service support. When Amazon Services botched up the order, iSpring stepped in and took care of the problem. Sadly my experience ordering it through Amazon Services was not so good. It does not mention the 1/4" quick connect anywhere on the product description. Instead it uses '3/8" COMP' description which can confuse buyers into thinking they're getting a 3/8" quick connect. It's also missing the quick connect locking clip. Don't know if it was intentional but it sure was inconvenient for the buyer. It seems like they're trying to steer buyers into ordering additional locking clips as a separate purchase. Lastly they refuse to post negative reviews on themselves which means their reviews are worthless. I submitted a 1 review on them and they wouldn't to post it. This 5 star review is for iSpring.

I bought another RO system that actually had a fully metal part that I liked better. However it was threaded incorrectly. On the supply side it was 1/2" brass threaded and I have 3/8" supply lines. A trip to both big box stores turned up no solutions. So this seemed like a great way to go. It took seconds to install and worked perfectly for my 3/8" supply line. It does have a plastic valve dial :/ but, I'm still very happy with it. I just wished I had ordered it sooner and not wasted so much time trying to figure out how to make the other part work!

I bought this due to an issue with a non-iSpring made water filtration system. My pipes are all 3/4" and the water filtration system I bought came with a 1/2" to 3/4" quick connect tee making it absolute hell to install! I looked into a bunch of different ways to remedy the situation. Tees, cut offs, can I stack tees, etc. Due to the amount of Youtube videos I watched I now have a minor in plumbing LOL. but this made it so much easier and seemed much more sturdy than using something all plastic.

The first one that came was used instead of new so I returned it. but they replaced it in a couple days and it works great! Used to connect an under sink water filter (water drip) to sink line. Used a bit of Teflon tape for good measure, but had no difficulties

I had purchased an under the sink purifier by Pentair that came only with a poorly designed water adapter that only had 1/2" fittings, when my sink had 3/8" fittings. This piece was better in that it had metal connections and actually fit my sink. No issues with connecting it to my water line and back up to the faucet, but I did have trouble getting the 1/4" tubing to fit in without leaks. That's the only reason for the 4 star on easy to install. I was able to get it working by taking off the blue plastic locking washer, then the tubing actually went in all the way and doesn't leak (after replacing the washer). Shutoff valve is a good feature also compared to the one that came with the filter.

Easy installation, no leaking, high quality.

I've been using my Ispring reverse osmosis for more than 8 years now without a problem! But recently I noticed the shut off valve had a small leak! I ordered the replacement part but when I received it the part was too large. Through email Don quickly responded with a helpful solution. A friend of mine was able to quickly replace the shut off valve. I went on my merry way forgetting about it but Don emailed me to make sure everything worked out! Great product and great people to work with!
