Pretty tasty
I purchased several of these for hunting. I typically hike in about 4-5 miles in the forest, and these meals were a nice treat for lunch & dinner. I agree with the other reviewers that they are slightly more expensive MRE's, and the heaters work very well. They did have a slight chemical taste, and that was my major objection. Overall, I would buy them again.

Great flavor but it took a heck of a lot longer than the 3 to 5 minutes the package claimed to cook/heat up

Good breakfast
These Omeals heat up really well, even better than the civilian MREs I have. The heating element gets rather large and does not burn so you can't just burn it up in the campfire, you have to hike it out.

Good taste good texture
Good taste good texture. The self heating packet worked really well, but it made for more bulk in my pack and isn't really needed if you are packing a stove for other meals.

Quick and Tasty!
Loved being able to make this quickly after a long day of hiking. Super tasty! I added a packet of vanilla almond butter and it made this meal even better!

Great meals. Love the self heating envelope.
The meals are actually quite tasty. Amazing self heating is versatile because you can use the hot liquid to warm up other stuff like instant coffee inside the envelope.

Didn’t heat
The heating element didn’t activate so I had to throw it away and bum breakfast from another hiker.
