It’s can be spread out to between 12 and 17 inches. I bought two and put them together in a large outside pot and they look gorgeous. They have been outside in the Florida sun for two months and still look like the day they arrived. And all the neighbors thought they were real!

I have two crotons in planters on each side of my front door that are beautiful. I don’t see why one couldn’t be used inside the home.
