I first discovered Reuzel at my hairdresser and have been using it for a few years now. It smells great, is easy to apply, and rinses off your hands with just water. It gives a natural look—no shine or clumps—and holds well throughout the day. Definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a reliable styling product. I use this size for when I travel.

My boyfriend has straight, thin hair and this helps his hair stay in place and stays volumized even after wearing a hat (just has to run his fingers through and its back up). He says it also washes out very easy. Does not leave hair shiny which is what he wanted. Very matte look. Lasts many many hours. Small amount goes a long way.

Note that this is the super small can! Only 1.3 Oz! The larger 4oz can will last you a lot longer if you need more.

Smells good but not strong enough.

This stuff smells disgusting. It's so unbearably bad we are throwing it away today, despite how expensive it was.They claim it's vanilla with a subtle hint of mint.No. It's like cake frosting or something? Yeah, I smell like a birthday cake.It's absolutely revolting whatever it is.Highly recommend to REUZEL to make it very clear that the smell of this stuff is not subtle, and not for everyone.

I have thinning hair and needed a product that will provide both volume and a medium hold for the whole day, and this product delivers. The vanilla mint scent is not bad but I prefer a cedar, citrus or sandalwood scent (beggers can't always be choosers). The hold is perfect - maintains shape but remains pliable enough to run your fingers through without messing up your style. That being said I do top off with hair spray for windy days where I'd like a more firm hold.

Arrived when promised great price

So I've got really straight fine hair and a lot of it so finding hair products that will keep it in place is a huge PITA. I've been on somewhat of a matte finish kick lately going for looser styles instead of the super slick. I saw Reuzel had a new product so I bought the smaller tin to give it a try. First off the smell reminds me of mint chocolate chip ice cream, or a cookie, not offensive but still somewhat strange. It scoops out of the tin great and spreads nicely between the hands, however when applying to dry hair(to get the best matte affect) I did pull out a few hairs, but I expect this with my hair type, its just really easy to break off. After application it left a nice soft feeling to my hair however, it just didn't have the strength to keep it back, I was somewhat disappointed. The next day I tried it again with more product and once again it didn't hold up once I got to work, so I decided to apply it to damp hair. Well... it worked, but unfortunately when applied to damp hair it dried rock hard just like every other gel type pomade, it held my hair in place but not exactly how I would like. Overall it's a good product but if you usually need a heavy hold to keep your hair in place I would look else where.
