Good for side sleepers! Takes some getting used to but worth sticking with it.
This wedge pillow is huge (takes up 2/3 of my double bed) but I was hoping for that so I would not end up sleeping next to it. Also, if you were trying to cuddle in bed, I think two of you could fit. Just the right height and pretty comfortable. I have been diagnosed with pre-cancer (GERD/Barretts) and after scaring myself with YouTube videos of a GI conference and diagnosed with bronchitis from aspiration, I decided I better get with the program and do something to keep this from happening. As my family has dubbed me "princess and the pea", I can guarantee, I was the last one to wish to change my sleeping position/habits as doing so usually ends up in a sleepless night. This is not the case with this wedge, I have felt much more rested since getting it.Con: I do wish it had more memory foam...even after it's had a few days, I can't tell which side has the memory foam without opening the case. If this had slightly more memory foam, it would be perfect and would have earned five stars! I warn that the first few nights, you might wake up to find yourself huddled toward the foot of your bed but that is you trying to get used to sleeping with a foreign object. After the third night, I am finding myself staying up where I am supposed to be and think this will improve over time. It's worth persevering!Pro: This is much more comfortable than the one I bought through a medical store for surgical recovery a few years back (that one did not have memory foam and was like sleeping on a slab even with heavy narcotics) and my neck is not hurting as much as when I was trying to prop myself with pillows alone. It is a longer slope so it seems to support my lower back better than most I have tried. With the other one, if I would fall asleep and stayed on my back for most of the night, I would--over time--start to suffer a sore rear and I am convinced that if I kept going, I would have had a bed sore even with a memory foam mattress as the wedge hit just at my tailbone. I don't think this would be the case with this wedge because of the length, gentle slope and softness of the foam, you can't feel the edge. Just for reference, I am 5'7" and think it would be good even for much taller and bigger individuals than me.

No problems at all. I would recommend. Comfortable, soft and a decent price compared to others.
Here is my initial review. I gave only 4 stars as I am waiting to see how it holds up. If it works out well I will give it 5. I did not experience the heavy smell that others complain about. It smelled a little but it was fine within 24 hours. it took less than 18 hours to expand to its full size. It was not lumpy as others commented. If , like me, you have no sense of what 32 X 30 looks like measure it out. It is bigger than i imagined. If you have two sleeping in a queen size bed it will take up a bit of your partners space. Not an issue for me but thought I should mention. The height of the top of pillow came to 7 inches on the sides and just a tiny bit less in the middle. It says it comes with a cover and it does but it is more of what I would call a pillow protector. I don't think it would be easy to take on and off after washing. I will have to look for a pillow case solution. Someone mentioned that it is very hard but I don't get that feel at all. If you lift it up it is very dense and heavy but it is not hard when you lay your head on it. It is like any memory foam you sort of sink into it a little bit. I find it comfortable and I had no trouble getting used to it. I had wondered if 7 inches was going to be enough height but it seems to work well for me. I do not slide down as people have mentioned. I cant figure out what would make someone slide. It is not that much of an incline. The bottom of the pillow ( thin part does not bother me at all. i thgoht it might be lumpy or I would feel it under me but I don't it squishes down. I do use my regular pillow with this . I im a side sleeper and I had no issue. Will update in a few months and let you know how it worked out in the long run.

A little pricey but works well and is very comfortable
I recently had surgery to correct a deviated septum and was having trouble sleeping flat because my nose would get clogged up. Additionally, my ENT doctor had recommended that I sleep on several pillows to incline my upper body to promote better breathing and less snoring. This wedge seems to do the trick nicely and I am breathing much better at night. It is wider and longer than most so the incline is more gradual and is easy on my back and neck. Also I don't really slide down it and can still sleep on my side if I want. I am also able to use a regular sized pillow on top for my head. The memory foam is quite comfortable but I did have one night where I woke up very hot and sweaty from it (thus marking my review down to 4 stars). Hopefully that will not be a too frequent occurrence and may have been due to house being a little warmer than normal. The pillow is half the width of our queen sized bed so my wife still has plenty of room on her side of the bed.I also did get a rather strange email from the seller, Universal Direct, telling me I should break up clumps of memory foam. Since the Bed Wedge is a solid piece of foam with a memory foam layer on top (not clumps) this did not make any sense and if their advice was followed, it would have ruined the pillow. The pillow came wrapped up tightly and compressed. When unwrapped, it took just a few hours to expand to its full size. It did not have any unpleasant chemical or other odors associated with it as some folks have reported with these types of pillows (perhaps different vendors). It is a little on pricey side but, all in all, I would recommend this pillow if it has been suggested that you sleep on an incline. You can't really put a price on getting a decent night's sleep.
