This the third one of these that I bought, one for each side of a king- sized bed 's bilateral tables, and one to replace one of those clocks whose overall maximum brightness had decreased by about 30%. This makes the numerals unacceptably faint in the light of day. Otherwise that unit was fully functional. I have had the other of the initial two for many months, and it has functioned perfectly in all ways. The unit comes with two small cubical "feet" which plug into the chassis, and help to prevent tipovers. There is a micro-usb to USB A power cord which extends from an included rated transformer/rectifier which plugs directly the wall AC. There is an abbreviated documentation foldout included , but the operation is pretty much intuitively obvious, and well- marked as to all buttons' functions. The numerals are ~ 2" in height, easily read. Both clocks have have kept perfect time, synchronously set, from the time of installation. There is a 2 AAA battery backup for the settings, but batteries will not operate the clock, without its power cord. There is a Dual alarm capability, each independently set, programmed, edited or D/C'd . The volume alarm is adjustable through an acceptable range of intensities, by buttons programmed on one lateral panel, and an either standard / military time accessiblity, by a button on the opposite side's panel. A "snooze" option is available by a central top button, distinguished by its more rectangular outline in contradistinction to the others which are square. This makes location easy just by touch, in a blind, dark room. The individual alarm ID buttons have their unique configurations, grouped at the end of the top panel for easy selection. It takes far less time to easily acquaint yourself with the function of this clock, without even the documentation, in well less time than it took to write this review, so I would give this a top rating for an effective, user-friendly interface. I'm not deducting a star because of partial failure of the numeral intensity, as this well could simply be a one-off minor problem related to a defective circuit component which does not disable the inherent function of the clock. If one or both the other two clocks develop the same problem, I shall most assuredly update this review to advise the readers. BOTTOM LINE: Enthusiastically recommended as a value-rated option to get the job done admirably.

Love the size of the clock, very easy to see from across the room. Numbers are bright but in a soft color. After we had this clock for a week or two we purchased a second one.

I’ve been using this PPLEE alarm clock for a couple of weeks now and it’s exactly what I needed.
