Is this product cruelty-free? Do they test on animals or allow other countries to test their products on animals?

Neutrogena is NOT cruelty-free!!! It inherits the policy of its parent company, Johnson & Johnson, which tests on animals "when testing is required by law or specific government regulation" (official statement below). While some of their products, particularly in their new Neutrogena Naturals line, are labeled as "not tested on animals", this is MISLEADING . They sell their products in China, where animal testing is mandatory for foreign cosmetics. Because of this, Neutrogena IS NOT considered to be a cruelty-free brand!!

In the name it says Moisturizing face serum. Is this a 2 in 1 moisturize and sunscreen or do i have to apply my moisturizer then this sunscreen?

That depends upon how dry your face is, really. In the winter when my face is drier, I use moisturizer under this sunscreen, but I am 67 years old, so my face is naturally drier than that of a younger woman. In the spring and summer I do not need moisturizer with this sunscreen, however. I have found it to be much more moisturizing than any other sunscreen I've tried (and I've tried many). Generally, I would say this is first and foremost a sunscreen, but it is more moisturizing than most.

Does this have the sunscreen smell?

I bought both the serum 60 and Clear Face 50. Both have a sunscreen smell but serum 60 has maybe half as much that Clear Face 50 does. The other answers here I cannot say are accurate.

is this similar to ultra sheer face mist? i can’t find that product snymore

This is not a face mist, it is a liquid sunscreen for the face.
