The mics work individually but unfortunately the Y splitter didnt appear to work at first. As I was packaging to return I noticed that there were actually 2 parts to the splitter (see photos) once I separated them, the whole thing worked perfectly. I haven’t tested them properly on my podcast recordings to report on sound quality so have given 4 stars for the time being.

I purchased these for use with my DJI Wireless mic system. However I was forced to return these.Whilst the accessories you get with these are great and for what they are they are built well, unfortunately they generate a background hiss when used with the wireless mic that renders the audio useless.

They capture nice quality sound but when paired with a phone, constant buzzing seems to be unavoidable. Haven't found a way to remedy this yet. Will try a bit longer but Im assuming ill have to return them. Its a shame as they come with everything youd need for this to be a good product, a hodler bag and many adapters. But the microphones themselves seem to leave you wanting for alot more. Almost an acceptable product.

They "work" and the bundled connection package is good but they have too much self noise to provide any useable audio quality. I have tested them with high quality studio and field recorders and always the noise is unacceptable. Also, the foam windshields are of limited value and they need fluffy covers to avoid wind noise adding to the existing noise. Best to spend more and get something useable.

Honestly a waste of money, firstly I had to further purchase a separate lead. Secondly the sound quality was awful. Just farted and distorted it's way through any kind of bass or heavy footstep soundUseless

If you plug the microphones and the extension cables into the Y-shaped connector and then into the lightning adapter to fit your iPhone then you should be able to hear two speakers each with their own microphone equally clearly. If you tap the microphones, you should be able to hear distinctly a sound from each.Unfortunately, there seems to be a fault with the lightning adapter that comes with the kit. I’ve tested each of the components individually and everything works apart from this lightning adapter.There is an email address on some printed material that comes in the box. Unfortunately, this email address is invalid and it bounces.I have tried to contact the Slint shop through their Facebook page but haven’t had a reply yet.

If you find this review please take this advice and do not buy this product. I’m a filmmaker and bought these as a quick fix for a last minute shoot that I needed lav mics for. I wish I had read the reviews and gone for something a bit more expensive because these didn’t work. All of my footage has static instead of the crisp audio as advertised. All of my footage is unusable. Since then I’ve gone back and tested the microphones with multiple cameras, phones and computers and they all have the same issue. Do yourself a favour and buy something else

I was really hoping these microphones would work. I’m a photography and cinematography student, so really needed these to work. But you pay a cheap price, you get a cheap product.I have an iPhone and MacBook, and the splitter adapters do not work on either. I tried to use one microphone plugged in directly into my MacBook, recording through adobe audition software, which worked slightly, but then it defeats the purpose of using dual microphones, and therefore wasted my money.Some reviews claim it worked for them, and some claimed it didn’t work, for the same reason it didn’t for me, so I guess it’s a hit or miss.
