Klein Tools 56028 LED Flashlight and Work Light, Durable, Waterproof, Compact, Hands-free Magnetic End, Runs to 12 Hours, for Work and Outdoor

As a work light, for me doing HVAC work, it's as close to perfect as it gets. I'm talking about the flashlight with the work light on the side. The good, and it's really all good, the flashlight beam is perfectly round and even from edge to edge with NO bright spot in the middle. It's perfect for work, especially distances under 10-12 feet. Past that distance is good, but it's not designed for that. The side work light is surprisingly bright, and will light up a furnace or A/C unit very well indeed. Both beams are perfect for their intended use. The are no flashing beacons, red lights or other useless gimmicks on the light and it remembers the last setting, work or flashlight. You won't have to fumble around clicking to turn it off, going thru a bunch of useless modes. I'm not sure what the glow in the dark ring around the flashlight is good for, but it's cool. Maybe if you're in an attic and drop it, but it would have to have been on to energize the ring, and then turned off, to come into play, oh well, cool. The magnetic base is a must have for hands free work, and it will hold the light anywhere with it's super strong magnet. All in all a great light. I like Nebo Big Larry lights, but this one is much better in all respects. I have one and just ordered two more, so I like em. UPDATE: I've bought about seven of these lights, and all of them are still on the job. They are the best work light for the kind of work their designed for, ie electrical and HVAC. I've dropped them from heights of 12 ft or more, and no problems. My only gripes are the clip is pretty lame and I just take them off and toss them. The bigger gripe is the glow ring will harden and chip away from ozone or UV light, and you have sharp edges around the lens. This should be a rubber ring. I could care less about the glow in the dark junk.

Love this flashlight. It is heavy duty and the magnet is very strong and I keep it on my air conditioner unit inside because it’s always handy when I need to change the filter. I always know where it is. I also purchased another one and I keep it on my water heater, which is above my dryer. It’s in a closet so the flashlight is very handy.

I've had this flashlight less than 24 hours and I'm already in love with it. I've been looking for a good magnetic flashlight that's also compact for use on the job--I work on movie sets as an electrician--and this one hits all the right spots. It's pocket-sized, bright, seems very durable and constructed from high-quality materials, and best of all, has a magnetic base for the worklight function. The beam has a very wide spread with a slightly greenish tint that may be due to the glow-in-the-dark ring around the rim, and although it would be nice to be able to focus the beam, it's not essential, and the impressive lumen output makes up for this in my opinion. The magnetic base is VERY strong, almost frighteningly so. Overall, an awesome flashlight that I can foresee myself using for a long, long time. I never thought I'd say this but my Maglite is now being replaced. Nothing fancy, just bright light all around and an innovative design. Klein Tools prevails once again.

This compact, durable, versatile flashlight is a must for your toolkit, home, or shop. The 235-lumen focused beam is perfect when working in tight spaces. The cushion grip ensures the light won't slip out of your hand when working in oily or greasy environments, such as automotive repair. The build quality can handle the drops and bumps that come with using a work light. (I would expect nothing less from Klein.) Some reviews claim this flashlight does not work with rechargable batteries. I use rechargeable NiMH batteries which I can attest do in fact work and with no noticable reduction in light output. I have 2 of these flashlights. One I keep in the house, the other in my shop. I will likely buy another to keep in my truck. Yes, the price is slightly more than comperable size lights but it is worth the investment.

I ended up returning this. It's too bad too because it's a great flashlight but it's not rechargeable like my previous flashlight which I lost. I hate filling up landfills with batteries so I have eneloop aaa rechargeables which I thought I could use on this but the light gets so dim that it's unusable after the batteries go down just a little. I guess it's because NiMh batteries are already a little lower voltage to begin with. With regular alkaline batteries it's nice and bright and I'd imagine very useful. I found that they do have a usb rechargeable version but it was double the cost of a Chinese one that I used for half the price for 2 years before losing so I went with that.

Great flashlight, love the magnet on the base for when I am working in small spaces, and the size light works great. I have purchased 4 of these I like them so much. I used it today when I was working on a rack and getting it setup for new server equipment I will be installing next week.

Estoy muy satisfecho con mi lámpara. Tiene muy buena iluminación, una muy buena intensidad luminosa y con un buen enfoque, encendido fronta y lateral, el imán la hace perfecta para dejarla estática en alguna estructura metálica. Tiene una pequeña agarradera para cargarla como una pluma. Es una lámpara muy versátil y el precio lo vale completamente.
