Sound quality is great. Really good battery life. Clipped one on my back pocket and crawled through old attics and crawlspaces and survived a 15 foot drop onto a hard floor with no issues. There are definitely cheaper options for a MURS radio, but this is definitely one of the best.MURS is Multi Use Radio Service. It doesn't require a license to possess or transmit on in the USA and can be used for personal as well as commercial uses.

The clips break all the friggin time
If you buy these make sure to buy 25 clips to hold on to yourself. They are garbage and break all the time. Seems simple enough but I have had three clips in three months. Pathetic
