Great spring suit, very comfortable
Perfect fit and very comfortable, stretchy in the armpits for paddling out and the material is very soft feeling on the skin. Zipper works flawlessly. I am 5โ10โ 157 lbs. Usually with wetsuits they are very tight in the crotch area so I decided to go with the Medium Tall and it fits perfect.

Necessity for water-cold people
Iโm the only dad a shorty wetsuit at the indoor or outdoor pool on a 90ยฐ day where we live, but Iโm no longer feeling hypothermic everytime I get in the water for my kid. I wear this under basic black swim shorts and a 3/4 length long sleeve oneill swimming shirt. This way I feel less awkward while also being much less cold. Quality is great. Zipper is easy and strong, the long tail of it makes it easy to do yourself and also makes you feel sort of ninja-like. Over a year later and itโs holding up. 3 trips to Great Wolf, and maybe 50+ swim days. Only just starting to see the logo start to crack.

The Seals Reflect the Quality
I've attached three photos to show the quality of the seals around the openings of the O'Neill Men's Reactor-2 2mm Back Zip Short Sleeve Spring Wetsuit:(1) The 1st photo shows the long single-piece rubber neck. This single-piece design avoids seams that may leak. The smooth rubber layer of the fabric forms a seal around most of my neck.(2) The 2nd photo shows a leg opening. Again the smooth rubber layer of the fabric forms a seal against my leg. My only criticism here is that the diameter of the opening is small and feels tight.(3) The 3rd photo shows the back zipper. Unfortunately, when zipped, the rough fabric layers of the neoprene are making contact in an attempt to form a seal. I would have preferred that the smooth rubber layers are used to form a seal. The photo also shows a loose thread that may jam the zipper. The design and aesthetics of the O'Neill shorty are top notch. I do notice some shortcomings in the zipper seals and tightness in the leg openings. Overall, I believe that it deserves 4 of 5 stars.

Warm and fits like a glove
I like that it has a windproof material on the chest and back as I use this to kitesurf with. Quality is great and I love that I can fold the zipper pull over the velcro strap to make sure the back doesn't unzip during a session. I did go a size larger as other reviews have pointed out and mine fits perfect. So you know, a wetsuit should be like a second skin. snug but not tight. If you can't breath or it is restricting movement you went too small if it is baggy you went to big as this won't keep you warm. Also note these stretch out a bit over time so if at first it is a little tight give it time to break in. Otherwise return before using it and get the size you need.

Large Tall vs XL
It appears that O'Neill is one of very few brands that make a Tall size shorty under $150. What's interesting is that there is a Large Tall but no XL Tall anywhere I looked.According to the size chart, my chest and hip measurements were ok but waist is much tighter in L. I'm 6'5" (220lbs) so I definitely needed a Tall size. Figured I'd give L Tall a try. It fits snug but being 2mm high quality neoprene, it's like a glove! And this is the first shorty I've own where I get good seal at both my legs, arms and neck to minimize cold water intrusion. Also, chest patch is very sticky if you're planning to surf or lie on top of something.Definitely recommend giving this wetsuit a try, and L Tall might just work for you even if size chart recommends XL. Hope this helps!!

Durable and fits great for a tall guy
Great wetsuit. I am 6'4 195lbs. This fits me well. My last one lasted 4 years and I wore it probably 60 days each year, maybe more, kitesurfing. Easy to pull on and off. I wear it more for sun and skin protection than warmth.
