How would this do in a 2.5-3 gallon tank?

I have a 5 gallon and it takes up the whole space.

Is this reptile safe? Will it work in a dry terrarium?

We use it in a fish tank. We had to cut off some rough edges. Not sure how it would work with reptiles. We love it.

Will this be ok to put in my leopard gecko terrarium? I

It should be fine in your geckos terrarium. If he is going to climb on it, you will probably need to figure out how to stabilize it.
