My husband found it very easy to put together and it is well made. We have it protecting our WEN generator for storage and know it will work as stated when it rains or snows. As a seamstress, I can attest that it is sewn with rugged use in mind. Just understand that it is not to be used in gale-force gusts over 40mph. Read the instructions carefully. We're *very* pleased with the product.

I returned it because it did not fit my 7500 power generator. Nevertheless, the materials were string!

I bought this for my Champion 7000 (I keep it outside my house). Good fit firstly but soonly the good news came. The first windy day we had in New Jersey, and the next day I found that the cover was completely ripped off, my generator was not covered in any way. Thankfully, it didn't rain that day and we didn't lose any more. I think the whole cover was something very "lightly" sewn into the fabric. I mean very "Lightly", if you pull hard on it it will come off without much resistance. The design and materials of this cover are deeply flawed and could lead to very dangerous endings. Sewing should be applied firmly like you would sew the straps to a backpack, not just a few light stitches you see. Invest in a better cover.
