Worth the Price
Unlike a cheaper version I had to return due to chips in the glass, this dish is perfect. Exactly as advertised. It was well wrapped in padding and bubble wrap.

Thermodynamics
9x9 pan deep. Transfer heat well and evenly. Bakes things out perfectly! You can buy it with a beautiful red lid that is plenty tough. Will break if you go immediately from hot to cold.

ideal for smaller portions
A bit thinner than my older ones - but that's ok - it works just as well, plus it does make it easier to lift from the oven. And it cleans just as easy as the older ones. I'm not sure why I never bought this size before. It is ideal for smaller portions!

I don't entirely remember what happened, but I blame my husband. My Pyrex pan from 1992 went to heaven along with the remains of the casserole or whatever was in it when it hit the tile. It was hard to find the same dish, as all my searches led to sets with extra baking dishes or lids or whatnot. But here it is. The best baking pan known to human kind. This pan will outlast your first marriage, and your adult children will try to sneak it out of the house
