No on off and not that bright

It's a neat little thing to have for the back of the Tesla. The pricepoint was right and adds a subtle amount of light in the rear footwell.

I’ve read the reviews and the questions/answers. There seems to be some confusion if this product actually works. I found that it doesn’t work properly plugged into a car charger. It will only stay on momentarily and then power off. Once the switch is pressed it gets stuck in the flash/strobe mode. It flashes and goes off every time you press the switch. I didn’t test for to long, but I wasn’t happy with the results until… I plugged it into my computer and it functions properly. It will stay on and does not time out. If you press the switch it will then go into the flash/strobe mode. If you press and hold the switch it will adjust the brightness. It works just like it’s stated in the instructions. It turns on/off when the computer is. I have an Apple computer, but I don’t see why It wouldn’t work with PC. I’ve only used it for 5 days, but I’ve had it on at least 12 hrs a day. So far so good. I only gave it 4 Stars because it doesn’t work for car use and I can’t verify the longevity. (Edited). 6 months later still works

Work good, wish it had on/off switch

Got this for my car. Looks nice, gives an ambient lighting. However, I bought the one with the sensor and it must be faulty. It stays on all the time which doesn’t bother me too much as it doesn’t drain much from the battery and loses power when my car is off. Wish it would have a better sensor.
