It's titanium. The design is a bit underdeveloped. I like to cook IN a fire when I'm camping. Then I usually clean my cookware by putting it in the coals to burn off any residue. This pot warped like crazy, cracked around the rim, and the lid no longer creates any kind of seal. I think it'll be fine for any backpacker or mild user, but I like to use my gear and this isn't as sturdy as I hoped it would be.

I washed the pot and lid as soon as they arrived. The lid shows signs of rust straight away. Titanium doesn’t rust, so I strongly doubt that the lid is made of 99.8% titanium as the manufacturer claims.Other than that, the pot seems fine for the price.

Unlike the other Titanium pots that I own, this one has a lid that actually fits, the fit is loose but the lip is wide enough to allow easy placement on the pot, even when it's hanging from a tripod. I have some pots that are impossible to place the lid on correctly because the lid diameter is too big and there is not enough of a lip.Also the price is right for the size, I've paid more for smaller ones with a terrible fitting lids.
