"No need for a GoPro anymore – This case is a game changer!"
I was growing increasingly frustrated with the low-quality underwater footage from my GoPro, so I started looking for a better solution. Since my smartphone has a superior camera, I decided to invest in an underwater case—and the Divevolk SeaTouch Max 4 has proven to be the best choice. This case is incredibly sturdy, well-made, and completely safe for my phone. Unlike other underwater housings, the full touchscreen functionality makes it easy to use my phone just like I would on land. Plus, with the customized adapter provided by Divevolk, it fits my device perfectly. I’ve already tested it, and the results are amazing—crystal-clear image quality and seamless operation. I’m excited to make it a regular part of my free diving practice and finally capture the underwater footage I’ve always wanted. If you're serious about underwater photography or videography, this is the best smartphone diving case out there!

The materials feel premium and durable, with a solid, well-machined frame and a crystal-clear touchscreen membrane that fits snugly and securely. Full touchscreen functionality is a game changer—you can use your phone exactly as you would above water. No lag, no delays, just smooth and intuitive control. It’s compatible with a wide range of iPhones, and the flexibility with accessories like wide-angle lenses and filters makes it perfect for capturing stunning underwater photos and videos. Works as advertised - great build quality
Case worked as advertised. No leaks!! There were others in my group that did not fair as well with a different case. Picture quality was better than expected through the glass part of the case. The selfie camera was not as good. Of course you are shooting through the soft plastic membrane for the selfies, so a decrease in picture quality is to be expected. I followed the directions and setup my phone with the assistive touch. That allowed me to get to my Home Screen. You can not and should not swipe on the soft membrane. The assistive touch allowed me to get to the Home Screen and use the full function of the phone. I was able to use the three different camera magnifications and switch between video and photo of the iPhone 13. The case is sturdy and seems well built. My case took a small beating while in cage viewing sharks. I tried to protect the case, however, water was rough and we bounced around a bit. The case held up to the small beating. I feared loosing my phone and case so I took that in consideration when looking at this case. The strap that came with the case is made from paracord and securely fastened to my wrist. The strap was also comfortable to wear. My iPhone 13 fit in the adaptor nicely. The way how this case appears to be designed, I may be able to use the case on other phones by ordering a new adaptor. This case could potentially be used in the future as I upgrade my phone. This case was more expensive than other cases. However, I believe it to be worth it for its build quality and capability to use all the functions of the phone. It is still much less expensive than a dedicated case for a DSLR. Bottom line, I would definitely recommend this case.

Amazing
I picked this up for our Maui trip, knowing we’d be snorkeling, and it was absolutely amazing! Totally worth every penny. It’s super easy to use, incredibly high quality, and the touch screen is a game-changer. It’s like a gel screen, so you can actually use the touch screen, which is a big deal since most underwater housings don’t support that. Another thing you might not think about with snorkeling is the sound. When going back and watching the videos, I noticed I could hear the humpback whales singing. It was whale season in Maui, and it made the whole experience even more amazing. Plus, this thing comes with some awesome accessories you can buy to turn it into a serious piece of equipment. Very impressive.

Works great but... Disappointing
Works great but... I purchased abt 21/2 yrs ago. Took it on abt 6 trips. Worked as expected and changed how I took underwater photos. Btwn last two trip 2025,touch screen jell developed bubbles . Contacted Divevolk and was told not to worry. I worried, so on last trip I' dove with empty case. The jell ruptured inside the case. I reached out to Divevolk to report and at first they requested addl info and video. I provided everything and waited. No word since after 3 more attempts for a status. Very disappointed. Lesson here is if bubbles develop in the case, stop diving with your phone and report. Case warranty expired after 1 year and no damage to cell. Really don't want to spend $250 every two years without warning. I I'm looking for sigh of improvememt b4 buying again.

The best dive housing
I wrote a review a while back on the sturdiness of the dive housing and the amazing customer service from the folks at Divevolk. But for a very brief recap- Well built/robust dive housing and Customer Service has been next level. My phone came without the iPhone 14 pro max adapter and with a quick email it was in the mail the next day, Can't say enough about these folks. I chose this housing after I came to the realization that the camera and video capabilities of my iPhone far surpassed those of my GoPro that I purchased a couple of years ago. I figured, if I'm going to update one piece of equipment (my phone) frequently, why not get a case to protect that instead of having to update multiple pieces of equipment (a GoPro/ GoPro case/ filter/ housings/ etc). I recently returned from Costa Rica where I had the opportunity to do quite a bit of diving. I can tell you, there are a few dive housings out there that will hold a cell phone/ iPhone, but this is one of the only ones I know of that allow you to access the touch screen and all the features of your phone (both on the surface and underwater). The touchscreen can be a little finicky, but it's better to have to take an extra attempt to hit the right app vs not having access at all. Many people on the boat were impressed with this option as those who used other housings could only navigate through camera and video options (via bluetooth connection). I was able to send out photographs and video on our surface intervals without having to remove the phone from the housing. I even placed a quick call while I was out without having to remove the phone from the housing. I had to speak a little louder given it was inside the housing, but none of the other divers using cell phone cases had that option. Taking photographs was easy. Make sure you follow the directions provided to give you the opportunity to take the best photographs and video. I was able to take up-close photographs and ones further away without any issues. Video was even better! I was concerned that given this case was so robust that I may lose out on some of the things I heard underwater. This only came to mind after being serenaded with whale songs. The DiveVolk housing did not disappoint. I was able to capture those songs in the same clarity as I heard them and have been able to share them with others. If you are looking for an option of taking video and photos underwater, then look no further. I would strongly recommend DiveVolk.

Great Product -- This is the BEST Dive Case for your phone
This is the best Diving Phone Case I have ever had. The Divevolk Seatouch 4 Max Diving Phone Case is truly the Best and Amazing. I have purchased other brands before, they either leaks water within 30/40 feet or they do not fit well because most of them are one size fit all. If it is not such a great diving phone case, I would not even take time to write a review. Since day 1 after I ordered the Divevolk Seatouch 4 Max case, the company has provided excellent service that I did not expected. Because I have the Iphone 14 Pro Max (which is not their default adapter) I emailed them that I needed the 14 Pro Max adapter. Divevolk immediately send me the adapter for my 14 Pro Max along with a free gift of a protective cover for the housing. This is truly wonderful for what they do for me. I then traveled to Cozumel, Mexico to do some diving in December. I have my Divevolk Seatouch 4 diving case set up for my iphone. It was an amazing experience being able to dive with such a light equipment and the ability to capture wonderful images and videos using my iphone with this wonderful diving case. It is so much lighter that my SeaLife Camera, with housing, with lighting, with mounts, and so on. The great things are that I dived into 100 feet deep and there was no leak what so ever. My iphone 14 Pro Max along with this dive case make it so easy to use and the videos and photos came out great. I highly recommend this product, and I would not hesitate to buy it again. In fact, I will buy another one for my wife soon.

Overall Quite Good, But A Few Items Could Be Improved
This is the third smartphone housing we've tried after the SeaLife SportDiver and Hot Dive H2. Overall, we enjoyed the DiveVolk Seatouch 4. There are a few things we loved about it, but a few items could use some tweaking to make it a clear winner. LOVE • Four Lens Choices – The native iPhone app has .5, 1, 2 and 3 lens choices with 2 apparently an optical zoom using the Wide lens. We love being able to get to that easily. Most third party apps on other smartphone housings only show three options (wide, ultra wide and tele) and require some menu navigation to get to zoom functionality. • Macro Wet Lens – We were absolutely thrilled with the 67mm macro lens. It’s a much wider lens than some other housing manufacturer options, so the distortion is greatly reduced. That in combination with the “2” lens choice above yields great macro shots. • Dive Case – The protective case is very sturdy, but the standout feature is the fully zippered netted compartment in the top half. Both the SeaLife SportDiver and the Hot Dive H2 cases only have a half netted divider which allows their contents to easily spill out when opening/closing. LIKE • Expansion Clamp - Unfortunately, we were on the tail of Divevolk switching from a 2-piece expansion clamp to a single piece expansion clamp and received the former. It is functional; however it has the same limitations as most other smartphone housing lens/filter systems. It only allows for a single choice. You can either go with a wet filter or a wet lens, not both. Given the versatility of most smartphone’s built in lenses, divers can take wide shots of wrecks and switch to close-up shots of shrimp on anemone on a single dive. Because dives typically run the gamut from spanning reef shots and small critters, most photographers/videographers would like to add a red filter for the former and a macro lens/diopter for the latter. We wish smartphone housing manufacturers would follow Backscatter’s FlipFilter model (for GoPros) or come up with some other EASY way for divers to switch between multiple lenses/filters underwater. • Lens/Filter Options – We like that Divevolk offers a red filter and a macro lens, but each only appears on the website as a package with the expansion clamp. Since we didn’t want two expansion clamps, we ended up purchasing a red filter from somewhere else. It would be great to offer that (as well as a yellow lens for fluorodiving) as a small add on to a purchase. DISLIKE • Membrane Size – This is likely only an issue with the largest of phones like the iPhone Pro Max line, but we found it very difficult to swipe from the camera screen to get to the home screen. The critical area that needs to be grabbed by a finger is soooo close to the edge of the membrane. While we were successful a few times (less than 25%), we feel very uncomfortable about the pressure needed so close to the edge where the membrane attaches to the housing frame. Making this a little larger/wider would certainly help for those of us at the upper end of the size spectrum. GENERAL OBSERVATIONS • Manual Focus – Unfortunately, the native iOS camera app doesn’t easily let you change focus manually. Sure, with the Divevolk, you can press where you want to focus, but that isn’t the best solution when it already can’t focus on a small critter nestled between a lobed star coral or a free swimming translucent salp/jellyfish. Other apps that allow you to manually change to focus would be needed for these edge cases. Nothing against Divevolk here. Just something we noticed.

Great customer service and product quality
Very happy with my purchase as a Christmas present for my husband. Quick delivery. Great packaging. He needed a separate phone insert to suit one of his phones and the communication with Divevolk customer service has been exceptional. He is looking for a great product for underwater filming and photos and this is by far the best that he has tested from a friend with superb results.

Game changer
If you travel often, or do anything in the water I recommend this case! It was packaged so well & securely for travel, it has multiple phone holding inserts (if you are someone who changes phones regularly or more than one phone uses). And was so secure. I was shopping for water proof phone cases it landed on this one from YouTube and Amazon reviews - due to the fact that it can be used for many sizes of phones). I got so many great photos - and the case does not impact photo quality at all (the case is on for the picture on the beach of the pigs and everything is still crisp and clean!). I took so many great underwater videos too; sound seemed clear but obviously a little muffled when underwater). Not a drop of water came into it during my whole week of adventures. This case is a little more expensive but if you look at it as an investment I would definitely order this over some of the cheaper cases with mixed reviews.

Buceen seguros!
