CITRUCEL Fiber Therapy Caplets for Irregularity, Easy to Swallow Methylcellulose, 180 Count

My system can't handle the usually recommended fiber, psyllium husk, due to existing GI problems. My GI doctor recommended this type (methylcellulose) and I concur. Much gentler on the system and no horrible side effects like I'd get with even small doses of the other. In addition, it does the job in terms of "regularity." Win-win for me.

Years ago, I went to the doctor with a bit of an embarrassing bowel problem. He suggested two of these per day. I started with two a day and it solved the problem. After a year or so I took one a day, and after a couple more years I found that I had apparently 'aged out' of that particular problem and no longer needed these.

This medication works excellent for allergies. I have a body itch all over my dermatologist. Recommend this product and she uses it as well. Can’t go without it. One pill a day.

Great fiber supplements!! Absolutely no excess gas unlike other supplements which is awesome. I will say, if you a susceptible to constipation (especially from too much fiber) I'd recommend taking these every other day as they can exacerbated the issue. I definitely didn't have the opposite issue (diarrhea) from them though which is good. These have no taste and are easy for me to take along with my other morning pills. Will purchase again!

My bowel movements are not consistent and sometimes when I find the right sweet spot (typically 1 in morning, 2 at night) I can go a few weeks with really consistent bathroom visits

A bit pricey.However great for putting it in your purse.If I am out and eat something with white flour this negates the high carbs.White flour is the same on your body like sugar.It rapidly goes too fast on the stumach.Causing blood sugar problems.Thanks Mary Formosa.
