#450 Tournament Traveler

I’m extremely impressed with this Alex Cramer domino set. The caramel leather case is absolutely top-notch — thick, well-stitched, and feels premium the moment you pick it up. Even the packaging was done with care, making it feel like a true gift-quality item right out of the box. The domino tiles themselves are outstanding. They have a beautiful ivory-like color that looks classic and elegant, with crisp, deep black pips and perfectly polished edges. The tiles feel solid, weighty, and very well constructed — nothing flimsy or cheap about them at all. If you’re looking for a high-end set with great craftsmanship, excellent presentation, and durable, professional-grade tiles, this is the one. Worth every penny.

The dominos are excelente quality and pro size. These are the best dominos I have ever had, and, the best thing is they have a warranty for life.

A wonderful domino set. It comes in a convenient, high-quality case. Unfortunately, some of the tiles are scratched on the outside. The size, weight, and sound of the tiles are excellent. My relatives said this is a whole new level of domino play. I hope that in the future, the tiles will be better checked for cosmetic damage before being packed in the case.

I’m very pleased with this set. We haven’t played yet, but when you open the box, it is in elegant wrapping and is obviously a quality product as you unwrap it. It comes with play instructions and everything you would want. The leather case looks and feels like the best you can get. A great value for the price. One complaint: I wanted a set that was 100% made in AMERICA. I googled Alex Cramer games and it stated that their Domino sets were 100% “assembled” in the USA” but when you open the set, the cribbage board has a sticker saying “made in CHINA” and the Dominoes themselves have a sticker saying “made in TAIWAN”. The only thing I can figure is that the beautiful case is AMERICAN made, but the rest of the set isn’t. Maybe there are no dominoes made in America, but I was disappointed to find out that the entire set wasn’t 100% AMERICAN. I think the way they say 100% assembled in the USA” is misleading. Still, a really nice product and I would recommend it.

Just received my #450 Alex Cramer domino set, and it is excellent! Very high quality lined leather case (the magnetic catches work perfectly), top quality ivory-like domino tiles with prominent indented black dots, and a very nice little wooden cribbage board for keeping score. Everything is beautifully made and this "travel set" is well worth the price. One small detail is that the scoring pegs for the cribbage board store in a cut-out compartment on the underneath side, with a sliding cover. This is just an example of how they have thought of everything in making this excellent product.

Definitely a high quality set of dominoes. Feels great in my hands. It’s great that it comes with a cribbage board though it could be a little larger.

Beautiful set of dominoes! I own numerous sets from different manufacturers and I can attest that Alex Cramer's dominoes are the best of the lot. These tournament size dominoes are large and thick, a bit thicker than the 7/16" noted and that helps them stay upright and rock steady when playing. The black pips are also larger than some and are well done and proportionate to this size domino. The smooth leather box they come in reeks of quality, down to the stitching and magnetic latches. The walnut stained cribbage board is a nice accessory to the set so you don't have to look for that pad of paper and a pencil to keep score when playing Five Up. This Traveler's Set is priced just right and will probably last a lifetime. Alex Cramer will even replace a damaged domino free of charge whenever you need one. Highly recommended.
