I ranch for a living. Always a calf or two that needs help. This is the simplest one man tube feeding system and it works. Tube length is appropriate for fresh calves. Bulb on end of tube makes correct tubing possible for inexperienced hands. Rate of flow is quick but not overly rapid. Size of jug makes it easy to feed larger volume or additional meds with milk on larger calves. I really really like this product and would recommend it to professional cattlemen and veterinarians. It is easy to clean too. I would like to see it come with an additional screw cap that did not have a tube to prevent sloshing in transit to pasture or barn.

I bout this hoping to never need it. I’ve had it leads than a week and came home to find a sick calf that wouldn’t nurse his mama. It took 2 minutes to give him a bottle and a shot of la300 the latter being the harder. I wish it had a 1 way vent but it’s soft enough I only left a little milk in it. I would definitely recommend.

Excellent for calves that won’t suck

My husband and I have no experience tube feeding calves but were able to use this tube feeder to feed our calf successfully. I highly recommend it! When our calf was first born, out of desperation, we made and used a homemade tube feeder while waiting for this feeder to arrive. Our homemade tube feeder worked, but the Springer Magrath Fluid Feeder was much easier.

It does the job, and comes with simple, easy to follow instructions complete with pictures. Easy to use, easy to clean.

Good quality. Shipping was slow but it works

Looks to be a very well made drench bottle. Have not had to use it as of yet but we have calf that will develop bloat out of the blue a few time a month. So soon I expect.

Gets the job done but several small issues: First the cap does not seal well - this job is messy anyway but come on make a decent cap! The section of tube near the cap is not easy to kink to stop fluid flow. Kinking and holding with one hand WILL result in leaks - see cap issue. The collapsible container helps with dispensing but makes thorough cleaning difficult and FORGET about sitting it aside in an upright position when you need both hands. Don't get me wrong, it does work but it could be better. I needed one in a hurry and Amazon delivered fast when the local stores were out of stock.
