Great Stuff!
I've got all kinds of hair dressings in my bathroom, all better known than this one. This one puts them all to shame. First, it spreads better than anything I've tried. It gives hair weight, hold, and glory be, it doesn't make your hair, stiff, waxy or feeling full of goo. Makes it far easier to get your hair to the shapes you want it to look. Smells great and makes your hair feel natural (try to get that from most products). So, at that it's not a super holder. It does provide good hold, and you can always spray it for those windy days. Price is good, well worth the 10 bucks I paid.

Makes My Hair Soft, Not Sticky, Great for a Very Light Hold
I currently have short hair, shaved on the sides, maybe 4 inches long on top. This provides a very light hold, just enough to sort of keep my hair out of my face and give it a bit of natural shape and texture. It makes my hair feel softer, which I love as I don't have the energy to care for my hair beyond washing it, and often not even using conditioner. The cream itself is very soft, like lotion consistency. A tiny bit greasy on my hands after using it or running my hands through my hair later, but not sticky like some hair products. A light scent that fades very quickly (though not a tea tree oil scent, not sure what it is). There's a sort of loose seal on the inside and it's wrapped in plastic on the outside. Not the right product if you're looking for any real amount of hold, but it's exactly what I was looking for, and I love that it makes my hair feel so nice!

Learning curve, but good product
I'm not an expert by any means (I'm a boomer). When it comes to hair product, I've been using a clear hair gel for probably a dozen years and was satisfied with it. When my hair gel ran out this time, I didn't really have the time to go out and buy something at a drugstore, so I went on Amazon. I didn't see the jail product that I've been using for several years, so I decided to try something new. I like the smell of tea tree oil. So I picked this product. Note that this is a cream. So after about a week of trial and error, with always getting too much in my hair, I finally found the sweet spot and I'm using just enough to not have white streaks in my hair. I'm satisfied now. It's not quite as easy for me to use as a gel, which is why I rated it four stars. I would have given it four and a half stars if that was an option. But it smells good and it works and it lasts throughout the day.

shockingly bad product
This product is made to look exactly like another version(i believe by paul mitchell) but it's twice the size and half the price. I should have known better. My first and only thought so far is that it's some kind of scam. It doesn't work AT ALL. zero hold. i've tried different amounts, wet and dry, everything. It does not hold your hair in place and you might as well use water. save yourself the 15$ and DO NOT purchase this product. I didn't think you could even find a shaking cream that is this bad.

Could be better
Being that the packaging and formulation is similar to the Paul Mitchell product, I'm basing this review on how well it performs compared to that, as I'm sure many others will be in the same boat; looking to replace that expensive name brand product. Unfortunately, at that purpose this formulation fails. It has a pleasant but odd smell that immediately reminds you it is not the name brand. The consistency is much different, more like a lotion than a paste. I find not having to use barely any water with this product. As far as performance, I find the hold of this to be very weak. Maybe if you use tons of it, it would be ok, but then why not just buy the name brand and use a pea-sized amount? The hold is not good and is usually disheveled by the end of the day, while the name brand would work for a couple days at a time. I really like that it is a larger and cheaper alternative to the name brand, but unfortunately just isn't the same quality.

Fabulous For Coily Hair!
This product leaves hair soft and natural looking. It for 24 hours at least. It does not feel heavy nor greasy. I do not see a strong hold other tha. The continued effectiveness of softness and protectivemess of the hair strands. The coils in my hair remain and the look healthy. I really like this product!

"Strong Hold"?
This stuff has the consistency of sour cream or yogurt, and provides almost no hold whatsoever. I used about a teaspoon dollop in my dry hair, and it just vanished while adding no malleability or texture at all. It smells not terrible, I suppose. Piney/planty clean tea tree oil scent that's not overly strong. I don't have a scale, but the container was about 20% empty. It didn't appear to be tampered with, and I'm sure they gave me whatever the claimed amount is (7oz), but it just wasn't great optically to see so much space in a "full" jar. If this stuff was 5 bucks a jar, I'd say it's worth a try. At 15 or 20+, if you want any kind of stylability, keep looking.

Botanic Hearth Tea Tree Shaping Cream
Did not meet expectations—a watery texture instead of paste. Little to no holding power.
