CamelBak military admin packs have earned a dedicated following over the years-they're known for their sleek, rugged design and ingenious gear organization. The Coronado is a simplified version of a military admin bag: perfect for commutes, travel, and any other scenario where you're moving light and fast. Underneath its low-profile exterior, the Coronado has enough storage for all of the gear you need to make it through the day. It features a fleece-lined laptop compartment, plus an internal sleeve to keep your water bottle in place and smaller storage compartments for your phone and keys. The MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment) webbing on the outside of the bag also makes it easy to clip extra gear to the outside of the bag.

An awesome everyday bag for any commuter
The Coronado caught my eye last year when CamelBak first announced it. I was looking for a tactical-style edc bag that wasn't too bulky or complicated. I have to admit that I'm not a special forces operator, or even an EMT in need of a bag to carry medical supplies. I'm just a regular, civilian guy who appreciates that kind of gear. That's why this bag seemed like the perfect one for me. It's tactical, but not overly. And I do believe that it was marketed to seem that way. I immediately noticed its sleek form and minimalistic style, and that it would be available in Multicam Black, which I think just looks really cool. After getting a peek at the insides of the bag in the promotional video preview, I knew that this bag would be the one to wait for. Fast forward a few months and I found it here on Amazon for the base price of $130 ($160 for Multicam Black).Yes, the pricetag is rather heavy (and even more so for the Coronado's bigger brother, the Quantico), and you'll find many excellent packs for less than half of the price of the Coronado. However, considering the uniqueness, awesome build quality, and style of this new Recon line, I find that the price is worth it, especially if you know you're gonna be using it for a long time.PROS:-sleek, minimalistic form allows you to commute without bulk-just enough organization for essential items, including laptops and tablets, inside and out-very comfortable, even when packed with gear-rather generous amount of MOLLE webbing for expansion-Multicam BlackCONS:-no Velcro for morale patches (The space above the MOLLE could have easily been utilized as hook and loop.)-a little expensive for a relatively minimalistic backpackDespite the relatively expensive price, this is a purchase that I do not regret. I look forward to spending years with this awesome little pack. I think CamelBak has a winner here with the Recon line, and I wouldn't be surprised to see this become the next big hit with the edc community.

Best Bag Ever
I can not stress enough how much I love this backpack. I work in consulting and frequently have to carry two laptops. I recently traveled with a Mac and a Lenovo both of which fit easily into the interior sleeves. There as also an additional sleeve where I could store my iPad securely. The BEST part was that my bag felt so light even with two laptops in the bag. Even better still, was that even with two laptops and accessories inside, I can store the bag under the seat in front of me on a plane. Still...another added bonus is that the bag holds its form so that you can place it on the ground and it stands securely upright without falling over. The interior is snug so there's not a lot of room for "extras". I carry pens, business cards, charging cords and a notebook and it's perfect for me.Nice clean look to the bag...absolutely love it.

Pretty awesome. Again
You may be a bit turned off by the price, but straight up, this bag is as sleek and well-built as it looks in the picture....no surprises. It's not too small to the point where it can't fit everything--and it's not too big where it looks big and looses that sleekness. In fact, I was carrying around large mailbag style TUMI before this and the Coronado holds everything that bag held in a much more organized fashion and without any unsightly bulges or things piled on top of each other. PLUS, there is still lots of room for more...I have everything my TUMI held and I can still probably hold clothes for a night's stay somewhere. Pretty awesome. Again, you might be a bit turned off by the price, but if this is something you like aesthetically, I can tell you again you will not be surprised in that department and you will liekly keep this bag for years and years to come due to the high build quality. Just get it...:)

Simple minimal bag
This is my favorite work bag and I’ve been through many. It fits my small laptop, water bottle, accessories, umbrella, notepad, and still has room. Very lightweight. Clamshell is great for simply grabbing things. Straps are comfortable when walking or cycling.Wish it came in black.

Love just about everything about this small EDC pack
Love just about everything about this small EDC pack ... except it's a bit laborious to get your laptop in and out of the pack; the flap where the zipper meets on the top of the pack extends forward from the back edge right over where the laptop sleeve is located. It's not a deal breaker but something worth noting if you're used to a "dedicated laptop sleeve" where it slides easily straight up & down. Otherwise I love the size, organization & construction of this pack for small EDC.

Great small-mid volume backpack for office/travel use.
Great small-mid volume backpack for office/travel use. While not being large, it is sufficient to hold a table, large headphones in hard case, a few pouches/books/mis items.Only downside is lack of a sternum strap.

Black multi cam is on point
Nice pack for sure, downside though.. don’t use the front open grab slide for a handgun unless magnets are added. Still, I do not recommend this for a pistol grad bag.

It's a great pack with limitations for one day adventures.
Camelbak Coronado is a great compact backpack for person who don't carry a lot of stuff and it's a one day adventure pack. In backpack fits one 14" laptop (possibly even 15.6") one tablet or small 10-12" laptop, one bottle or charger (both will not fit). You can put your paperwork /notebook/slim folders in to other pocket or in the middle compartment. In small pockets you can fit three pens/pencils/sharpies, one external compact hdd or SSD. You can place some larger items or some cables to zipped pocket. On outside this backpack have one large opened pocket where you shouldn't put electronics, paperwork or other stuff that can be damaged by rain or snow. Zipped poker has nice soft padding and you kinda can try to put your glasses in, but if you will stuff inside with hard none flexible stuff like folders, this small pocket will be squeezed and you will be able to fit only small mainly flat items. Backpack have no dedicated pocket for your laptops charger, so you will use a bottle pocket for that and you will need to bring bottle in your hands or attach it to the pack from outside. If you plan to attach larger items from outside with straps than attach them to the bottom side. Otherwise your outside pocket will be opened all the time.
