BellyMoms Comfy Cozy Maternity and Nursing Lounge Dress

I bought this to nurse in for nighttime feedings as well as the newly postpartum days when I'd be hanging around the house in comfy clothes. The fabric is a great quality knit, the garment is well made, cute, and versatile in that it can be used for maternity as well.The garment has a high v neck (pretty modest neckline, actually) with a modesty panel that's a shelf bra, basically, that is unattached at the sleeve seam for side access. In theory this would allow only the relevant portion needful for nursing and cover the rest. That happens a little too well, though, because the high neckline creeps back up while the modesty panel pulls back to the side and interferes with the baby being able to latch on well. If you don't hold the two parts open the whole time you're nursing, eventually the baby gets de-latched. With a new nurser who is having trouble latching at all there is just way too much to think about at once. If you're nursing a toddler or really proficient baby it would probably be much easier; however, due to the placement of the panel/ neckline combo it is nearly impossible to use for side-lying feeding at all.

This dress was very cute. I think I would have really liked it but it did not fit my post-pregnancy body. The size that fit my hips was way too big in the chest area. It would also be good to know that this is more like a night gown than a sundress in my opinion. The company was great. Shipped the dress the same day I bought it and processed my return quickly.

This dress is really cute and would be great for pregnancy, but I ordered it for nursing and it is huge. I wasn't able to order the next size down because the M fit in the chest and I knew a small would be too tight.

It fits well enough it the chest but feels a but frumpy in the skirt. Also, for being labeled a nursing dress, it isn't very easy to pull down to feed. It works well enough, but I wouldn't recommend it to friends at this price.

I bought this so I could have something to wear in the hospital post-pardum. I have twins, so I wanted something that would be comfortable post c-sections, just in case things didn't go as planned, as well as something I could nurse in. The quality is really nice, and the length is perfect (not too long to get tangled up in, but not so short that I feel too bare). It is nice to get something to pamper yourself post-pardum and this along with a bathrobe will help to make you feel as much at home as possible in the hospital.

If you are looking for a convertible dress that is truly maternity AND nursing…this is not it. Unless I'm missing something, it is not very easy or possible to nurse in this dress unless you struggle with the design or take your arm out of the sleeve. Pro's: thick material and pretty color.

Fit was too big. I will be returning this item as it doesn't quite lay on my body correctly. Good color though.

It is comfortable, works well for nursing, but definitely not something to wear out of the house. I use it as a night gown.
