Solid construction and punches pretty hard. Worth the investment

Use this everyday at work

I like this punch but it's a bit strong. If I punchdown fully to hear a click, it will actually break the plastic. The other punch tool I have requires fully pressing down. Otherwise it's pretty reliable.

I was trying to get by using the cheap and I mean cheapo Ideal plastic push tool when I was installing network Keystones. Ugh what a pain it is without a proper tool. Thankfully this Ampcom arrived and gave me the motivation to finish the job in my garage. There is something to be said about using the right tool for the job. The impact force is plenty enough to avoid troubleshooting.

Completely awful. Purchased 2 of these. They're labeled "cut" on BOTH sides. However, that is irrelevant because the bit sits 90 degrees off. The 1st one stopped punching on day 1. The other stopped punching 3 days later.

This punch down tool works well and is a good value given its cost. The tool is sturdy and appears like it will last a long time. The packaging is almost entirely in Chinese, but if you've used a punch down tool before that won't be an impediment.

Tool worked and allowed me to get my wired home network installed. It is supposed to cut the wire after punch down, but it consistantly dented where it was to cut and had to be worked a bit for the excess wire to finally break off.

He tenido oportunidad de trabajar con bastantes rematadoras y ésta quedaría en un rango medio. Por ratos se traba el resorte interno y se debe lubricar un poco para que funcione nuevamente. Si bien cumple su cometido es bastante frustrante que falle cuando tienes trabajo por hacer. Si el uso será ocasional es buena opción, sino será para usar diario recomendaría una mejor.
